"Haiizzz" Diya let out a long sigh as she saw that Ema was still clinging to Marco like a barnacle.
The women showed no signs of getting off, after struggling for a little Marco stopped trying to put down Ema.
He decided he rather liked the embrace and simply went with the flow. This lack of effort irritated Diya but she didn't say anything.
She could understand her as she glanced at Aphrodite who wordlessly stared at Ema. She ignored her and asked Diya, "So you were curious about that technique used on the demon, correct?"
Diya simply nodded her head, she gave Aphrodite a look that asked her to continue. Being very adept in social queues Aphrodite continued.
"I know a few but I recommend not asking anyone too high in the echelon off the supernatural world. Maybe a good example is someone like Enki would be a good fit. Though he is quite popular in his pantheon he primarily prioritises knowledge."
Aphrodite suggested a few more gods of wisdom, knowledge, runes and magic to Diya.
Ultimately leaving the decision to her, as in the grand scheme of things she was merely a passer by who saw something interesting.
Diya rubbed her chin deep in thought, she contemplated Aphrodite's suggestions while simultaneously being shocked by her extensive network.
"The goddess of thots sure has a ton of simps" Diya couldn't help thinking to herself.
The moment Diya thought this Aphrodite narrowed her eyes dangerously. "You just thought something extremely rude about me didn't you."
This remark shocked Diya internally, but on the outside, she remained calm. "HOW? How did she know, I need to play this off somehow."
Diya panicked internally but showed nothing externally, she tilted her head a little and asked in a rather convincing voice "What do you mean?"
Seeing the excessively nonchalant manner Diya posed her question Aphrodite's eyes narrowed further.
A pink pressure radiated from her showing her growing annoyance. Seeing the display Diya cursed internally "crap she didn't buy my act."
Little did she know that many factors made Aphrodite extremely dangerous to deal with. For one she had the power to sense the intentions of others.
Put simply she could sense when someone had any ill feelings towards her no matter how minor.
Diya's thought just now triggered Aphrodite's senses, and assessing the context of the conversation she concluded that Diya must have insulted her.
Though in the heat of the moment, Aphrodite still managed to perfectly dissect and assess the situation. She was 100% correct in her guess and Diya's attempt to cover up only solidified her suspicions.
Seeing the hole Diya dug for herself, she gave up and apologised. "I'm sorry Aphrodite, I was actually amazed with your extensive connections."
Hearing Diya Aphrodite stopped radiating power and listened to her apology, when she heard how extensive her connections were and was envied by the general of fog she was pleased.
She gave a maternal smile while inside she was jumping for joy and laughing like a maniac. But her smile froze when she heard her following words.
"I thought that you must have a lot of simps everywhere and how they would do anything for you at the drop of a hat."
Aphrodite wanted to retort Diya, she wanted so badly to prove her wrong but upon recalling her old 'acquaintances' she remained silent.
What Diya said was not wrong, she knew that most gods in the world wanted to get in her pants.
Only rare beings like Shiva, Perses and Nergal who were not affected by her divinity could potentially be considered 'friends'. Though she knew that all of them still wanted a night with her.
Aphrodite sighed when she realised that even if she won the argument she still lost. She asked Diya who she wanted to ask regarding the demons' issue.
Diya contemplated choosing the right god while internally breathing a sigh of relief when Aphrodite voluntarily changed the topic. "How about…"
