Miasma

 Marco grasped desperately at his throat. He felt like his lungs were engulfed in flames. 

 His eyes were bloodshot, black blood streaming down this face. He was coughing blood, crying blood and his nose streamed fresh blood.

 The man was rolling about on the ground kicking and screaming in agony.

 The sight was reminiscent of gases victims' final moments. Thanatos walked to Marco with a blank face of indifference.

 He took Marco by the shoulders before punching in across the face. With the amount of pain Marco was already in, one would expect him to be knocked out. 

 RIGHT???

 A terrifying black power erupted from Marco, his eyes unfocused but his expression was reminiscent of a demons.

 "WHAADKTT DDMUOO TKPEEK YOOR DOIITG!" 

 Marco shouted blood spraying with every word he forced from his burning throat.

 Without a word Thanatos reappeared behind him and without warning started raining a hail of punched on Marco. 

 The punches were so powerful that the terrain was starting to change. Originally the base of a mountain was now changing to a gorge. 

 After a few hundred blows did Thanatos finally sigh. "Damm this guy is something else. Even with the Miasma basically destroying his body it took so much to make him sleep." 

 Once again he tried to imagine where this kind of durability, willpower and power would take him. 

 This monster was basically taking a beating while his body was engulfed in Miasma. 

 Something that could greatly weaken gods of the positive scale or straight up kill them.

 "Now Marco, you will either make the Miasma your own, gain some resistance to it or die by it. I hope that you will survive."

 He pinched his nose as he felt terrible. He was in so much shock that he failed to realise what was happening. 

 Typically if one were to attempt training with Miasma for the first time there would be a lot of preparation needed. 

 Why??? The human equivalent to this question is basically getting a random Joe to swallow a barrel of toxic waste. 

 No normal, nay even monsters couldn't survive that easily. While this man basically committed one of the dumbest things in the supernatural world. 

 To his credit, although he didn't know about it but still. Didn't his mother teach him not to eat strange things?
