Determination

As Aphrodite was having an existential crisis, she started muttering. "What will I see next? First, Ema was kidnapped..." The moment she uttered these words, the consciousness of Diya came back at full force.

As if she were a mother hearing her child was in grave danger, she flung Benizaten away and appeared in front of Aphrodite, grabbing her tightly by the shoulders.

"Tell me everything, QUICKLY!" Diya hissed in panic. She did not even want to imagine the amount of chaos that Marco would cause if he found out about this news.

Seeing that Aphrodite had no reaction, the now primordial goddess of time did the unthinkable. She SLAPPED the goddess of beauty Aphrodite, one of the most beloved existences in this plane of existence, across the face.

A loud slap reverberated across Benizatens' temple. Some curious gods that were peeking in due to the ascension of a new primordial were all sweating buckets.

They knew all too well what Aphrodite would do to those who offended her. The previous time, a god king level existence was charmed into slowly torturing one such god that merely slighted her in conversation.

Now? She was literally slapped across the face, the curious gods now regretted even observing the situation. What if Aphrodite knew about their peeking and decided to silence them, PERMANENTLY?

As many Shinto gods were now scared for their lives and trying their best to escape from the fury of Aphrodite. The woman herself regained her senses.

Seeing the serious look of Diya, Aphrodite looked at her confused. "How are you awake? Didn't Benizaten knock you out? Wait, now that I think about it wasn't she right there?"

Aphrodite pointed to the place Diya was losing consciousness a few moments ago.

"That does not matter right now! Now tell me, what exactly happened to Ema." A little fear was seen on Diya's face as she shook Aphrodite by the shoulders.

She is trying to get the stunned woman to answer her question, which for some reason is giving her the feeling of impending doom.

Finally registering Diya's question, Aphrodite began to recount the flow of events. How Ema was badly hurt, how she found a mysterious cave that not even Takemikazuchi knew of and how they encountered Tiamat.

Diya's face grew dark upon hearing the name Tiamat. She heard many rumours about what type of existence that thing was.

Though many darks thoughts raced through her mind, she went was also intently focused on Aphrodite's recount. She breathed a sigh of relieve when she hear that Tiamat was interested in Diya.

Having heard that piece of information, the general of fog now began contemplating her options.

She could tell Marco about the situation, but she couldn't honestly predict the type of nonsense he could cause to save his wife.

She then started thinking about all her contacts but still came up short. Though she knew many ancient gods, god kings even few would dare to offend Tiamat.

That was how much troublesome it was to deal with existences like Tiamat. Frustrated, Diya started mumbling various plans and how it would fail in the face of the goddess.

Hearing Diya's mumblings, Aphrodite started thinking and a name immediately popped into her mind. This god was extremely powerful, though she was not sure if this god was a match for Tiamat.

But having a hunch is better than nothing right?

"What about askin..." Before Aphrodite could give her suggestion, she was immediately cut off by Diya. "NO. You have done plenty already by giving my family the chance to grow."

Diya rubbed the bridge of her nose in frustration and continued. "I will help Marco speed up his training and we will embark to get back out Ema."
