Chapter 33 Don't trouble yourself!

Cecilia was startled. Alston's address book contained so few contacts that she could count them on one hand, and Boyce's number was nowhere to be found.

She had only intended to ask for Boyce's phone number, but she was met with Alston's icy glare.

Looking up, Cecilia's voice carried layers of tension and unease. "Could you give me Boyce's phone number?"

Alston was suddenly doused in cold water.

The flames of anger in his heart extinguished instantly. His lips twitched.

Was Cecilia searching through his contacts just to find Boyce's number? Wasn't she trying to snoop into something on his phone? Wasn't it about finding those so-called mistresses?

He scanned her suspiciously, his eyes filled with ambiguous meaning.

Alston asked with feigned ignorance, "Why do you need my secretary's phone number? Planning to make Boyce your last call? Have you thought this through?"
