Chapter 307 Can't Live Without a Man?

Back in the city, Alston was immediately taken to the hospital by Cecilia. The doctor informed Cecilia that Alston had sensitive skin and couldn't use just any medication.

Ordinary drugs could be ineffective or even fatal for him.

"What kind of medication can he use?" Cecilia asked, bewildered.

The doctor gave Cecilia a strange look and said quietly, "Ask him. He should know better about this."

In the hospital room, Alston was getting an anti-inflammatory IV. Cecilia looked at him and asked, "Why didn't you tell me you had sensitive skin?"

Alston smiled casually. "It's not a big deal. I'm fine now, aren't I?"

Cecilia knew Alston was trying to ease her guilt and didn't want her to feel burdened. Her nose stung with emotion; his response made her fear intensify.

She didn't make a fuss but asked, "Can you tell me what medications you can use when you're injured?"
