"Surgery?"
Alston was somewhat hesitant.
After all, the parasite had already spread to Gladys's eyes. Who knew if there were remnants in her body?
They opted for surgery to fix her eyes, but what if there were residual risks inside her?
Cecilia bit her lip and murmured, "After breakfast, let's have the doctors give Gladys a full-body check-up again."
"I'm a bit worried..."
"Cecilia, the doctors at Hospital C are all highly skilled. You don't need to worry," Marian interjected.
Cecilia paused, then looked at Alston. At this moment, as Gladys's father, she inevitably wanted to hear Alston's opinion.
"Let's do the check-up first. If there are no hidden parasites and the doctors insist, then we can proceed with the surgery."
Gladys stared with wide eyes, innocently asking, "Surgery? Are they going to cut into Gladys's eyes?"
"Mama, Gladys is scared!"
Cecilia embraced Gladys. "Don't be afraid. Mama and Papa are here! It won't hurt, and afterward, Gladys will be able to see."
