Chapter 145 Dealt A Fair Hand.

Amara learnt two things the hard way. One, with Elijah not being around to constantly smile, cuddle and give her the attention that oddly, she had gotten used to in such short amount of time, her mood was bound to deteriorate. Now, she wasn’t a downer, no, Amara was far from that, bubbly, some would have called her in her early years.

But that was exactly the thing, her early years. Now, she had grown older, had traumas, scars, expectations placed on her shoulders, responsibility and well, her fair share of enemies, ready to put her out of business, or life, the moment they were given the chance.

Although, some may say even at that, she had no right to constantly be in a bad mood and nearly snap at every single person, Amara would love to argue and say she did.

She deserved the right, to be mad and angry and bitchy, after everything she had gone through.
