Kicking the toy chest in frustration, “Fucking Bellatrix.” These four walls of oppression that always seemed to close in around me.

In due time I would have won the King’s favour and had all the luxuries and privileges that Bellatrix was granted. However, she ensured that I never would. She’s always been selfish, but I didn’t think she would stoop so low and send me back to this insufferable orphanage.

This wasn’t even my own room; I shared with three other girls who were currently scrubbing the floors. Bellatrix didn’t fucking understand, she escaped this miserable place – not only once but twice and she left me behind.

Green District was withering under the rule of the new Alpha, it’s only a matter of time before all humans fade into obscurity and I won’t be one of them.

“Bonnie,” House Mother called, “You are on clean up duty for the night, Emery said she was sick and couldn’t help.”
