I was utterly hypnotized by the peaceful expression she wore while asleep, buttoning my shirt ever-so slowly and drinking in these rare moments. That beautiful, strategic mind so unpredictable that I couldn’t deduce her next move.

However, I knew that her persistence to win this competition wasn’t strictly for my benefit. Her motives steered towards the human rebellion, she still wanted to join them. Despite her friendships with my people, it hasn’t detoured her from joining.

The human rebellion will create a war, one that will take lives of both humans and wolves. That wasn’t what I wanted, nor do I think Bellatrix would condone such a thing. Ultimately, she wanted humans to have their freedom, abolish the slavery and live in peace.

But this wasn’t the way to get it, if everyone died then what would be the point?
