Shaking my head, utterly astonished by such a revelation of their existence. “He never told me anything.” The corners of my mouth quirked up into a half-smile, “Prince Thalion is filled with surprises.”
From this distance, the fairy was merely a floating orb of white light in his hand. Lila pursed her lips, deep in thought. “Do you think he carried her in his pocket this entire time?”
I grimaced, “That would be weird and unbefitting of a Prince.”
“Indeed.” Prince Thalion’s voice interrupted, steeling our spine under his attention and pressing my lips together to suppress my embarrassment. “Rosie was brought here today, and she prefers to sleep all day so I’m actually disrupting her routine.”
He peers down at the fairy with a radiant smile. “I’m grateful for your assistance today, Rosie, I know it must be hard.”
