Chapter 166 A Revelation No One Saw Coming

Lazarus De Loughrey

I clenched my jaw, curdling the disdain in my chest as I sneered. “Get out.”

Emmett’s face stricken of haunted anguish, despondency thickening his voice. “Lazarus, I’m being serious.”

I jerked my chin towards him, signaling Christian to remove him from the premises. “So am I.”

Emmett fought against Christian’s hold yet willingly let himself be restrained. Christian gave a curt nod, starting to drag him out of the room.

But Emmett protested with hardened eyes. “Donovan is working with Bjorn.”

Grinding my teeth in annoyance, my fists tightened. “You chose him and what? Now you are coming here for forgiveness?” I laughed, bitterly. “You aren’t that naive Emmett.” I spat.

Fire blazed upon his face, every feature steeled with determination as he stood his ground. “I don’t expect forgiveness, but the situation is getting out of hand, even you won’t be able to contain it.”
