Leona

Engjell focused hard on the fluffy material above her, her pupils turned gold for a split second, elongating to look like an animals, as she stimulated her beast kin traits. Engjell immediately felt her senses heighten. Her sense of smell and hearing was off the charts, and her perception was magnified.

If she focused long enough, she could see through her fluffy cage, gazing out into the room they had occupied just moments ago, filled with laughter and conversation. Her attention quickly shifted to her friends, who were hiding behind the other cloud couches that adorned the space.

There was no time to waste. Their hiding place would only conceal them from the enemy's detection for a brief period. She needed to act quickly; time was running out. With determination, she withdrew her gaze from her trembling friends and surveyed the corridors, foyers, and every room in the mall. The scene was the same everywhere: pedestrians were shivering in fear, forced into submission as weapons were pointed at them. They were being herded toward the event hall, and it seemed the attackers had everything meticulously planned since all of them were heading to the event center simultaneously.

Once in a while, there was some resistance; courageous individuals fought against the attackers. However, once they realized their limitations, a single energy blast from the attackers' weapons was enough to crush their spirits.

She could sense her own abilities. As expected, it seemed the enemy's energy-negation barrier had no effect on her powers. Those cheapskates couldn't even afford a better barrier! Although her abilities were still usable, she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself. For that reason, she was relieved that the enemy had shut down all electronic devices.

While the people admired and praised her alter ego, Siren, for her mastery over the water element and her charming essence, their admiration could quickly turn into hostility. It wasn't impossible for her to be seen as a threat that needed to be eliminated, there was nothing more fickle than public opinion. Although she feared no one, she had to come up with a different plan.

Wait a minute, she could use her beast-kin ability. It seems it's time for Leona to have some fun. A malevolent grin so unlike her usual demure smiles, appeared on her lips at that thought. She decisively used her spatial ability, Spatial Expansion to increase the space within the couch, she needed space for what she was about to do. Done with that, she activated her duplication ability and began her metamorphosis. Her face contorted into a painful expression as her fingers twitched slightly in discomfort. Double eyeballs appeared in her eye sockets, her lips and nose followed, separating into two, after what felt like a century but was barely a minute, she finally finished completed the creation of her doppleganger, there were now two her, the two Engjell looked at each other and smiled.

Engjell number one began another transformation process her features changed and sharpened, her hair turned gold and untamed, like a proud wild lion, a tale protruded from her behind naughtily, Her pupils turned dark blue like the stormy sea. Her height lengthened and her assets changed, becoming more abundant. Engjell number one nodded at Engjell number two.

Then using spatial displacement, she teleported to a different hidden location. With a hand on her chin, she contemplated her next move. Should she wait for the rebels to gather in one location, or should she take them out one by one.

Whatever, she had been itching for a fight since a while ago, now she can finally stretch her muscles. I guess the rebels were useful for something after all.

She disappeared and appeared on the first floor, already decided on her first Vic- i mean opponent. The five masked rebels were surprised at the sudden appearance of the golden haired, golden tailed fierce beauty, they immediately recognized her as the Wild One. An eccentric shape shifter, feared and detested by outlaws and the Nations alike for her ruthless and fierce skills.

She was tagged wanted by outlaws and all the Nations, offering up a high price for her head. The general public's opinion on her was complicated. They couldn't tag her as good but she couldn't be tagged as evil either, she was always either playing hero or breaking laws, all on her own whim. Like her name, she was wild, untamable and answered to no one. In her world, there was nothing like righteousness or law and order in her dictionary, she did what she wanted, when she wanted. Fortunately for her and unfortunately for others she had the strength to back it up.

Before they had time to react, she was on them, her speed was out of this world, appearing and disappearing like a mirage, she appeared behind the first person, her leg already raised, she gave him a roundhouse kick, knocking him unto the nearby wall, the wall cracked and dented at the impact. Without a pause she appeared before the second, the masked man barely had time to blink before he was punched into oblivion.

The last three finally reacted and took up their guns in defense, they looked around in panic, searching for the fleeting figure. A cold chuckle reverberated in the hallway, sending chills down their spine.

Eng- Leona let out a tsk, finally deciding to put an end to the tedious battle, she increased her speed. Making quick work of the last masked men all within a second. She gathered their weapons and placed them in her personal spatial dimension.

She winked playfully at the stunned hostages then disappeared to a different location. She took them like a storm, plowing through their defenses and taking them out before they could even recover enough for a counterattack. Like the previous time, she took their weapons and anything useful in their possession.

"Tsk, useless." She cursed under her breath after attacking another group. Were was the promised challenge! She hasn't even been able to stretch her muscles. She thought in disdain and disappointment. Already bored she made quick work of the rest of the rebels on the first floor, leaving them on the floor, defenseless and unconscious. To face the people they once held hostage.

She appeared on the second floor without an ounce of the earlier excitement present. She had already lost all form of anticipation she once had before she entered into the battle. "Oh?" her rich voice rang out in the empty hallway, her gaze directed in a certain direction. A smile of interest spread her bloody red lips apart.
