As the female cop was criticising Akihito for his behaviour, Akihito was preparing himself to leave for Suzume's house. He kept a bunch of medicines in his fanny pack, took his car keys and left for Suzume's house. He also bought some food on his way.

After reaching to her house, he knocked on the front door, but no one replied. He was so scared that he made a bunch of false scenarios in his head. He somehow managed to enter house through her living room's window. He checked the whole house thoroughly but couldn't find Suzume anywhere.

He even checked her bedroom, but couldn't find her. He was going to leave, when he remembered that Suzume has a habit of hiding. Actually, she used to always look for a comfort place whenever she was scared. So, Akihito started checking the closest and wardrobes in the house. After 20 minutes of continuous checking, he found Suzume in the closet of her bedroom.
