A TIME

Present Time,

ZEDA'S POV

I woke up with an ache in my head like a truck had run me over.

“Do not move" I heard a voice say.

I turned to my side and there was Kamaz seated. A lazy hand under his jaw, strained eyes on me, and hair like his fingers had gone through it a couple of times. But still, he looked dreamy.

"Today is not my free day remember? I need to fix…” I started but he stood up from the couch he was seated on and began to walk towards me.

In that moment, a feeling of deja vu washed over me and I felt like I had seen him walk towards me in that manner before.

‘But when?!’

He sat on the bed, his body close to mine and my words immediately took an inconclusive route.

He stared at me for a few seconds before his lips parted.

“There are just very few times I have known fear and for all those times, it was because of one person…one human.
