DOES SHE REMEMBER?

Present Time,

“Place her down you stubborn fool!” Leader Tangrid fired at Kamaz, and yet again, he ignored her.

Zeda weakly smiled at him. “I need to get dry. Please place me down."

She could hear the hiss sounds of his skin squelching and healing almost immediately.

He gnashed his teeth angrily before he placed her down.

She was able to tilt slightly to her side and she looked at him with a smile still on her face. Even though she had never been able to read his facial expressions before, looking at him, she could tell that tranquility and peace were three generations away from him.

He was indignant.

Kamaz was resting on his knees, a dry distance away from her with his hands glued to his thighs. He itched to touch her, to hold her to himself but she had told him what she wanted.

Their eyes were fastened on each other - her now dull purple orbs, due to the strength she had lost on his fiercely polished baby blue ones.
