THAT CANNOT BE ME

Present Time,

Zeda looked at herself in the full-length mirror, and she gasped at her reflection.

She was in a green and black ball gown - adorned with pearls at the waist and paired with velvety gloves that stopped at her elbows.

"That cannot be me..." She said in a low voice.

She strode closer to the mirror and lifted her hand to her reflection. When her fingers touched the mirror, she gasped again, "It is I" She said dramatically.

Rena smiled for the first time that day, finding Zeda amusing. 'She could pass as a good comedian! Too bad she is the King's'

"I look so beautiful ladies. I do not know how to thank you but I'm so grateful. " Zeda said as she turned to the ladies responsible for her makeover

"Our delight!" One of them said with a proud smile. They took their things and left, leaving Zeda and Rena.

"I guess my job here is done," Rena said.
