Present Time
Hundreds of Krugras dropped from the fog and the once peaceful stadium turned rowdy.
People fell over chairs, children went under chairs, babies screeched hard through the disturbance and pets whimpered in confusion.
Eyes like molten lava hunted after flesh and caught up to the nearest persons.
“What is going on?" Zeda asked in a loud voice as she looked from everything going around to Kamaz’s face.
Zeda’s vision was immediately tilted as Kamaz threw her over his shoulder. Her gown was too long to permit her to run freely and Kamaz’s first thought was to take her away from the arena.
Zeda's heart was beating loudly and this time, it was for a different reason - fear. As Kamaz leaped away, his thoughts merging and plan forming, he was intercepted by Rena and Falkur.
He placed Zeda on her feet but held her close to him, not allowing the slightest of air to escape their sides.
