JUDGEMENT ON ZOAH

Centuries ago,

He laid Zelda’s body gently on the bed they had spent their a few nights and mornings on after their wedding.

As expected at that altitude of the mountain, the wind was bone-chilling. He pulled a furry blanket over Zelda’s frame and placed a small kiss on her forehead.

A clogging emotion was incoming and the fury within him was still very much alive and well. If it were before, his kiss would have made her open her eyes and she would have graced him with the beauty of her sight. This was another confirmation of her exit in his life- one he couldn’t yet understand, an exit he would never give in to.

He quickly turned from her and went out the door. Falkur had made the others wait some distance to the mountain and they all looked ahead at the height of it.
