Wait,him?No!

Three Days Ago

In the dimly lit office, Macro leaned casually against the doorframe, his trademark smirk lingering. His sharp gaze locked on Sebastian, who sat behind the desk, rifling through stacks of papers.

The room was steeped in quiet tension—the faint rustle of documents and the distant hum of city life from the half-open window only deepened the intrigue.

“So, same girl, same dream, boss?” Macro’s voice broke the silence, laced with curiosity. He’d heard these musings before, each time more bizarre than the last.

Sebastian froze mid-motion, his pen hovering over a document. Leaning back in his chair, he met Macro’s eyes, his voice low and magnetic.

“Yeah. And it’s strange how she makes me feel good,” he admitted, almost begrudgingly. “When I’m with her in my dreams, it feels so real. No one’s ever made me feel like that. Not even… her.”

Macro’s brow arched in both fascination and concern. “Strange, indeed. But who is she? And why her?” He stepped closer, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Sebastian’s gaze drifted, as if searching the cracks in the plaster for answers. His tone softened, almost wistful. “I don’t know. Maybe it’s not about why… maybe it’s about when.”

Macro, sensing the mystery’s grip on his boss, decided to change the tone. A sly smile danced on his lips. “Well, I guess time will tell. And by the way, you’re okay with me hosting the party at the mansion in Polanco, right?”

Sebastian smirked knowingly. “Sure. Just don’t burn it down.”

The thought of Polanco’s infamous mansion—a beacon of decadence and luxury—lit a spark of excitement in Macro’s mind. But it was Sebastian’s dream girl that still tugged at his thoughts. “You know, boss,” Macro said, stepping closer, his voice dropping to a mischievous purr, “maybe it’s time to figure out what makes this dream girl so irresistible.”

*******

Macro and Bella exchanged confused glances, unable to process what was happening.

Sophia stood frozen, her heart pounding as she stared at the man before her. The same man who had haunted her dreams for four years.

“This… can’t be,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “It’s impossible.”

Sebastian, usually calm and detached, was visibly stunned. His mouth opened slightly as if to speak, but no words came.

Bella’s curious nature couldn’t let her stay silent. “Guys, what’s going on? Do you already know each other?” She shot Macro a suspicious look, trying to piece together the bizarre scene.

But Sophia couldn’t handle the surreal weight of the moment. Clutching her gown, she spun around and bolted into the night.

“Sophia, wait!” Bella shouted, chasing after her through the dimly lit streets.

When she finally caught up, Sophia was leaning against a lamppost, breathless and on the verge of tears. Bella placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Giggles Gabby, what’s going on? Why were you so freaked out when you saw Sebastian?”

Sophia hesitated, her chest heaving as she tried to calm herself. “Bella… he’s…” She stopped, her voice cracking under the weight of the revelation.

Bella, ever patient, urged her to breathe. Slowly, Sophia steadied herself and managed to speak. “Please… just take me home. I’ll explain everything there.”

At Bella’s Place

“You’re telling me Sebastian is the guy? Your dream guy?” Bella asked, her eyes wide with disbelief.

Sophia shook her head. “Not my dream guy, Bella.” Her voice was heavy with frustration. “It’s… complicated.”

Bella paced the room, trying to wrap her head around it all. “Four years of dreaming about this man, and suddenly, out of nowhere, you meet him? And the look on Sebastian’s face? He’s been dreaming about you too.”

“I know,” Sophia admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. She buried her face in her hands. “But why him, Bella? Why does it have to be him? He’s so… rude, arrogant, and completely insufferable. Why couldn’t it be someone else? Why a jerk like him?”

Bella crouched beside her friend, placing a reassuring hand on her knee. “Don’t stress out, Giggles Gabby. This… this has to mean something. Fate doesn’t just throw people together like this for no reason.”

Sophia sighed, still wrestling with the weight of it all. “Thanks, Bella. I really needed this.”

“You’re staying here tonight,” Bella said firmly. “My parents won’t mind. You need to rest.”

As Bella left the room, Sophia stared out the window into the quiet night. The events of the evening felt surreal, like something out of a novel. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t shake the feeling that destiny had just begun unraveling a story far beyond her understanding.
