CHAPTER 39: FIRST DAY FIREWORKS: CONFRONTATIONS AND NEW BEGINNINGS

On Monday morning our first day back at Chicago High School Chris, Jaime and I went to the registrar’s office to pick up our schedules and other important information that had been prepared for our parents. Our lockers were still the same as last year but my classes were located on the second and third floor. We sat outside the registrar’s office and traded our schedules to see the courses we had all selected. I smiled while looking at Chris and Jaime’s schedule thinking what a coincidence and just how funny things workout in life. We had chosen the same AP courses; math, biology, chemistry, French, Spanish, English and Literature with the exception of dance and music which didn’t have AP courses. The only difference was they chose AP economics and business management while I chose AP world history.
