Chapter223-Country Bumpkins Visit the Big Fortress!

"Senator Gallio, let's hurry over there!"

Kayn's eyes sparkled with excitement as he thought to himself, "Prince Velen will definitely be surprised when he sees me show up unannounced!"

Moments later, Gallio and Kayn arrived at the gates of the fortress.

They saw a burly man dressed in fortress attire sweeping the ground. Gallio stepped forward and announced, "The Holy Fortress has come to pay a visit!"

"The Holy Fortress?"

Apollo paused mid-sweep upon hearing Gallio's words and looked over at them curiously.

"What business do you have with our fortress?"

"We're here to see Velen," Gallio stated directly.

If he didn't have high expectations of Velen, he wouldn't be speaking so politely to what he assumed was a servant of some minor fortress.

"You're here to see His Highness Velen? Follow me."

Hearing their purpose, Apollo didn't ask any further. He simply turned and led them into the fortress.
