Chapter 20:A Spark Of Attraction

As they walked to the café, Aurélie couldn't help but notice the way Léon moved with a quiet confidence. She felt a spark of attraction, but she tried to push it aside. She wasn't ready to jump into another relationship, was she?

When they arrived at the café, Léon held the door open for her and gestured for her to enter. Aurélie smiled and thanked him, feeling a sense of appreciation for his old-fashioned manners.

As they sipped their coffee, Léon asked her about her interests and hobbies. Aurélie found herself opening up to him, sharing stories and laughter. She was surprised by how easy it was to talk to him, how much she enjoyed his company.

Léon listened intently, his eyes sparkling with interest. Aurélie felt like he was truly hearing her, truly understanding her.

As the afternoon wore on, Aurélie realized that she had lost track of time. She glanced at her watch and gasped in surprise. "Oh, I'm so sorry," she said. "I've taken up so much of your time."

Léon smiled and waved his hand dismissively. "It's been my pleasure, Aurélie," he said. "I've enjoyed every minute of our conversation."

Aurélie felt a flutter in her chest as she met his gaze. She saw something there, something that made her heart skip a beat.

"Would you like to do it again sometime?" Léon asked, his voice low and smooth.

Aurélie hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say. But then she nodded, feeling a sense of excitement. "Oui, I'd love to," she said.

Léon grinned, his eyes sparkling with pleasure. "Wonderful," he said. "I'll call you soon."

As they parted ways, Aurélie couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she had found someone special.
