Janna remained in the workshop, absorbing the ideas Link had instilled in her. Even as the embodiment of the winds of change, she found it somewhat difficult to accept Link's bold and advanced thoughts and plans.

Link donned his exoskeleton and helmet and headed directly to Zaun to assist Dr. Corin Reveck in relocating his laboratory. This was no easy task. To avoid attracting attention, he and Reveck used waterways to transport everything by boat to the riverside workshop.

Additionally, because Reveck's daughter, Orianna, had a crucial cradle that needed careful handling, they spent half a day setting up necessary pipes and wiring in the workshop for the cradle.

Meanwhile, to ensure Vander's safe transport, Link maintained a high intake of faint potion mist to protect Reveck during the journey, successfully bringing Vander back to his workshop without incident.

Finally, after relocating all of Reveck's cultivated plants and collected biological materials, they could consider the job complete.

By the time they finished everything, it was already late into the night.

"This should do it!" As Reveck injected a vial of potion into his daughter's cradle to maintain her physical vitality, Link pulled out his camera and asked Reveck, "Doctor, may I?"

Reveck glanced at the camera in Link's hand before turning away. "Do as you wish."

After taking a photo and chatting with Reveck for a bit longer, Link left.

Reveck moved a stool next to the cradle and sat down, gazing at his daughter who looked like a sleeping beauty.

"Orianna..."

"Just wait a little longer; I will make you better!"

...

Link didn't develop the photos right away. Upon returning to his workshop, he opened his mailbox and found a letter from another version of Reveck, beginning to write a reply. Dear Professor Levick,

I have established contact with another version of you and assisted him in relocating his workshop. I will hand over all your experimental logs to him for saving Orianna.

I took some photos of Orianna and am sending you the film as well; I hope it brings you some comfort. After finishing the reply, Link sealed the film in an attachment and sent it off.

"Link!" Gana landed on the workbench before him. "I've thought carefully about what you said regarding being a reporter—how exactly should I go about it?"

Seeing Gana take the initiative to ask about this, Link knew she was intrigued.

"Travel through every corner of Dual Cities, gathering all the information you can access. Then—" Link handed Gana the camera he had used earlier. "While collecting information, use this camera to capture any important details."

"In the end, bring everything back to me so I can organize it and publish newspapers through the Shrike Bird newspaper."

"Original accumulation takes time; I hope you're ready!"

Link spoke earnestly to Gana: "Once the name Gaan Arem resonates throughout Dual Cities, we can move on to the next step."

"Establishing Blue Bird Commerce, publishing Blue Bird Newspaper, deeply connecting you with Blue Bird Commerce while launching our first product will transform the influence created by Gaan Arem into faith in you!"

"Alright! When do I start?" Janna's gaze fell on Link's camera. He looked at it and then back at Gana's blue bird form.

"No rush; let me first make you a camera sized for your blue bird form. Then we can officially begin working."

"In the meantime, you can start gathering information and familiarize yourself with the workflow!"

"Okay—" Janna nodded vigorously, looking very motivated as she muttered something under her breath.

Curious about what she was saying, Link leaned closer to listen.

"This is a great opportunity for Gana; don't let it slip away—"

"From today onward, start my entrepreneurial journey as a goddess facing the sea while working hard!"

...

Link couldn't help but laugh at her mutterings just as Reveck's reply arrived.

Ignoring Gana for now, he opened up Reveck's response and began reading. Thank you for your helping hand; being able to see Orianna again is an immense comfort for me.

For a negligent father like me, this is truly redemption.

I hope you will allow me to continue atoning for my sins. Even if we exist in different timelines, I wish for her to one day open her eyes again and walk in sunlight.

Everything I promised you is included in this attachment.

You mentioned being interested in faint potions; therefore, I took some time to cultivate several flowers specifically for extracting faint energy and am sending them along as well.

Using these flowers as raw materials can enhance faint energy's effectiveness while reducing side effects. If you're not skilled at cultivating flowers yourself, you can give them to another version of me; he will take care of them for you. After reading the letter, Link retrieved the attached flowers and couldn't help but chuckle.

The other version of Reveck was rather roundabout with his words; these flowers were likely specially cultivated for Orianna and would be effective in preserving her physical form.

As for enhancing faint energy's effectiveness—that seemed like an added bonus.

However, securing this connection was better than anything else.

The flowers resembled sunflowers but had large blooms with a calm blue color filled with densely packed petals. Each petal was plump with fine blue-violet threads on its surface.

"What beautiful flowers! Where did you get these?" Gana noticed Link taking out the blue sunflowers from the attachment. Link casually replied, "These are Dr. Reveck's flowers; I just borrowed them for admiration but need to return them later."

"Alright then! Hurry up and gather intelligence and information; I need to return these flowers to Dr. Reveck!"

Link sent Gana off while carrying two pots of blue sunflowers toward Reveck.

As he walked along, Link pondered,

"I didn't expect attachments could also be used to transport plants; I wonder if there were any issues during their transport."

"If everything went smoothly then attachments could have many uses going forward."

With that thought in mind, Link paused mid-step.

Yes!

If attachments could transport living beings it meant they could also contain living beings.

If living beings could be contained then surely other items would be no problem too.

If he simply stored items within an attachment without sending them out then it would essentially function as an alternative personal space!

Link inhaled sharply at this realization—how did he only just think of such a simple method now?

If attachments could serve as personal spaces for storing items then where would their limits lie?

Could they contain inorganic matter? Organic matter? What about energy-containing objects or even energy itself?

If they could contain energy—could they also contain magic?

And if they could contain magic—could they contain... chaotic runes?!

As this thought crossed his mind, Link felt a tremor run through him.

If chaotic runes could be contained then he could easily create a sheet of paper sealing those runes inside!

This way there would be no chaotic runes beneath Hextech portals—meaning Jayce's and Ekko's time-traveling plot wouldn't exist either!

Without that plotline some subsequent conflicts would naturally disappear too.

In that case—all he needed was to methodically deal with other plot characters before changing Dual Cities!

"I need experiments! Step by step experiments must be conducted to determine the limits of what can be contained within attachments."

"But without Hextech gems or similar high-energy materials testing energy might be tricky—"

After pondering briefly Link recalled his concept for an electrical engine.

"If I can't use Hextech gems then let's create a clockwork electrical engine instead; we'll test using electrical energy first! If that works out then I'll ask Gana for magic testing!"

"If all tests succeed then we'll tackle chaotic runes—sealing those into attachments!"
