Later that evening, Dakora wandered aimlessly through the estate, her mind in a daze after leaving the underground workshop. Unconsciously, she found herself in Camille's beloved lavender field.

The field spanned dozens of acres, with blue lavender flowers stretching as far as the eye could see. At its center stood an Ionian-style pavilion, not built by human hands but rather formed by three trees that had grown and intertwined naturally. Their trunks served as pillars, and their branches and leaves formed a canopy, creating a harmonious blend of nature and beauty that made it the most picturesque spot in the Blue Lavender Estate.

Dakora followed the winding path through the lavender until she reached the pavilion. Inside, Camille sat gracefully, dressed in a long gray gown adorned with dark red tassels. Her blade-like legs were hidden beneath the flowing fabric, exuding an air of elegance and nobility.

An invisible flame heated a glass kettle, the water inside just beginning to boil. Camille lifted the lid with her thumb, index, and middle fingers, adding black tea leaves with practiced ease. The leaves danced in the boiling water, creating a mesmerizing sight.

"Dakora, you seem distracted today," Camille remarked, her voice as languid and magnetic as ever, her eyes fixed on the teapot. Dakora sat across from her, letting out a troubled sigh. "I've just suffered a major blow, Grandaunt."

"About Link Star?" Camille glanced up, and Dakora nodded. "I thought he was just lazing around in the workshop for the past two weeks. But no—he's been quietly creating weapons and gadgets far beyond the current technological capabilities of the Blue Lavender Estate!"

"Dakora, you must understand something," Camille said, pouring tea for both of them. "There are only three kinds of people in this world: the ordinary, the geniuses, and Link Star."

"You must learn to accept the surprises he brings," Camille continued, her gaze steady. "Otherwise, you'll struggle to fulfill your role as the head of House Ferros."

Dakora forced a bitter smile. "Maybe I should just step aside and let Link take over. I'll follow in your footsteps and become an enforcer."

"Don't undervalue yourself," Camille chided. "To the family, to me, and to Link, you are irreplaceable. You just need to adapt—to your new role, your responsibilities, and to supporting Link in managing everything."

"And then what?" Dakora blinked. Camille sipped her tea, gazing out at the lavender field. "We wait patiently for the fruits of our labor to bloom. When that day comes, you'll see that it was all worth it."

"I thought you'd suggest I bear his child to tie him down," Dakora muttered, blowing on her tea. Camille's expression shifted, her gaze turning oddly intense. Before Dakora could ask, Camille spoke, her tone tinged with amusement. "Isn't that something you should be doing anyway?"

Dakora froze, staring into her cup, unsure how to respond.

Camille calmly blew on the steam rising from her tea. "As his mother, I'd be pleased to see many capable women by his side, helping him shoulder his burdens. A dwindling family line weakens our legacy, and a fragile legacy invites chaos. So, do your best, Dakora. I don't expect you to be the first, but don't be the last."

"Yes, Grandaunt."

"And what of Ionia?"

"Word has come. The shipment will be ready soon."

"Good. Oversee it personally."

"Understood."

Meanwhile, Link Star strolled through the streets of Piltover, his hands tucked into the pockets of his lab coat. The sun was warm but not harsh, lulling him into a drowsy state. A gentle breeze swirled around him, shielding him from dust, debris, and unwanted interactions.

"You're really living the easy life, huh?" Janna's voice carried a hint of irritation. Link yawned again, rubbing his eyes before replying, "Without the protection of the great Janna, how could I enjoy such peace? It's all thanks to you, my goddess!"

"Hmph, at least you're grateful," Janna said, her tone softening. Link reached the Progress Bridge, where vendors lined the sides and the flow of pedestrians had noticeably increased.

"How are things in the Twin Cities?"

"Where should I start?"

"Top to bottom, as usual."

"You're impossible," Janna huffed, her breeze playfully nudging the back of Link's head. He chuckled, unfazed.

"Piltover has stabilized, but the new Council's formation is still a mess. The nobles are restless, and while the public remains calm, the elites are causing trouble. I've passed the relevant intel to that little Ferros heir, as you instructed."

"If they don't fall in line, I'll personally clean house. Make room for new blood and free up some resources."

Link's tone was calm, but his words carried a chilling indifference. Janna sighed but didn't comment further.

"Zaun is improving. Jinx and Vander have wiped out most of the chem-barons, and the remaining factions are being hunted down by the new Enforcers. The Zaun Council's establishment is progressing smoothly, though the newly formed Enforcer Bureau faces criticism and distrust."

"That's to be expected," Link said. "As long as Caitlyn leads them well, they'll win the people's support through action."

"True. I'll keep an eye on things to ensure your plans stay on track. Ferros agents have also infiltrated Zaun—some among the populace, some in the Enforcer Bureau, and others within various factions like the Firelights, Viktor's lab, and Sevika's bar."

"Viktor turned his community into a lab?" Link raised an eyebrow as he crossed into Zaun via the lift.

"He did, about ten days ago. There was quite the celebration."

"Good. I hope my gift arrived."

"Your little heir is quite capable. She sent a gift as soon as the news broke."

"And Heimerdinger?"

"He's taken a keen interest in the Zaun Academy. He teaches children during the day and adults at night, helping them catch up on basic education."

"That's good to hear," Link said, nodding approvingly. "Janna, keep a close watch over the Twin Cities for me."

"Of course, my not-so-charming chosen one."

"By the way, are you still monitoring Tamara?"

"She's hidden the map within the blueprints, and other Noxians are lurking in the city."

"Keep an eye on them. When the time's right, have Dakora send people to eliminate them."

Janna wasn't surprised by Link's cold demeanor. He had worked too hard to bring peace to the Twin Cities, and he wouldn't tolerate anyone threatening that balance.

"Let's head to Viktor's lab. I want to see what he's been up to."

With Janna by his side, Link made his way to the lab. What was once a community had been transformed into a sprawling research facility, with labs, workshops, and warehouses rising from the ground. The former residents now worked like ants, bustling about the complex.

Upon Link's arrival, one of Viktor's followers escorted him to the main lab. Inside, Link was greeted by the sight of Viktor and Jayce standing before a massive robot.

Its brass-plated body gleamed, its bulbous frame supported by stubby legs and large feet. Long arms hung at its sides, occasionally sparking with static. A restless brass head swiveled, its round goggles focusing as Link entered.

The robot's head stopped moving, its lenses zooming in on Link.

"Well, you two have been busy," Link said, impressed. He hadn't expected Blitzcrank to appear so soon.

The nearly three-meter-tall robot emitted a low hum, its voice crackling with electricity. "Big... big... big!"

"Huh?" Link raised an eyebrow. Viktor turned to him, clearly proud. "What do you think? Inspired by your creation, Pride, I designed this steam-powered robot for disaster relief."

"Does it have a name yet?" Link asked, stepping closer.

"Not yet," Jayce admitted.

"That won't do," Link said with a grin. "If you want to create a mechanical being like Pride, you need to give it a name. That's the first step in giving it a soul."

"You make it sound like naming a child," Jayce scoffed.

"Isn't it the same?" Link countered. "Creation comes with responsibility, and a name is the first act of that responsibility."

"Well then," Jayce said, leaning against the robot and looking at Viktor. "You name it."

"Me?" Viktor hesitated, his gaze meeting the robot's. The machine let out a puff of steam, its internal circuits crackling.

After a moment, Viktor spoke. "Blitzcrank. What do you think?"

"Perfect," Link said, giving a thumbs-up. Viktor smiled, looking at the robot with pride.

"Hello, Blitzcrank," Viktor said softly.

"Though a bit late, let me say this: Welcome to the world!"
