Vivian sat in silence, and the atmosphere in the room grew tense.

Boom!!!

A stifling wave of malevolent energy emanated from Vivian's alluring form, causing the air around her to distort with a strange black mist and cracks to form in the floor.

"Gina is such a failure. She couldn't even handle something so minor. What's the point of her existence?" Vivian's voice, though faint, shattered the silence. She gestured toward a section of the room, where several naked men, adorned with dog-like collars, crawled over, their faces filled with obsession, dragging chains behind them.

Bang!

As one man crawled over, Vivian lightly lifted her foot, the sharp heel of her high-heeled shoe piercing his eye socket.

He couldn't even scream as the sharp heel penetrated his skull.

Plop!

The corpse fell to the ground. Without a hint of expression, Vivian's foot, still impaled in his eye, dripped with blood, creating a gruesome and bloody scene.

The scarred woman standing nearby lowered her head even further, cold sweat trickling down her back, soaking her clothes.

It seemed that the sharp heel might strike her next, threatening her life at any moment.

"You are to find Paula and Jason immediately, but I give you only one day. After that, I want to see the man named Ethan kneeling before me. Do you understand?"

Vivian summoned another man to crawl over. As she handed him her blood-stained shoe, she gazed indifferently at the scarred woman across from her.

"Understood, my subordinates will definitely bring him back!" the scarred woman, known as Manda, replied nervously, nodding in agreement.

"Go now, and do not disappoint me again!"

The man who crawled over licked the blood from the sharp heel with a strange, obsessed expression. Vivian, reverting to her enchanting self, waved her hand lazily.

Manda bowed respectfully and exited the room. Once outside, she hurried to organize the search, knowing that failing to capture the target would result in severe punishment.

For the elders of Meteor Street, there was always a desire to recruit subordinates with exceptional combat abilities, but there was never a shortage of them.

Recruiting subordinates served to fulfill their objectives, but failure made them expendable.

"Hey, you two, have you seen these three people?"

Elsewhere in the garbage mountain outside Meteor Street, a search team questioned everyone they encountered.

When two residents scavenging for food in the garbage approached anxiously, the team leader showed them photos of three individuals.

The photos depicted Ethan, Lisa, and Mia.

"Hey, I think I saw these three people before," one of the questioned individuals said, surprised upon seeing the photos.

"Really? Where and when did you see them?" the team leader asked eagerly, eyes lighting up.

This was their priority target, and while time was short, the potential reward was immense, fueling his desire to succeed.

"I remember it was a few days ago..."

The individual thought for a moment before answering truthfully.

However, upon hearing that the sighting occurred a few days prior, the team leader's face fell in disappointment.

This wasn't the first recognition they encountered, but each sighting was too far removed in time to pinpoint the trio's current whereabouts.

"Alright, you can go!" the team leader dismissed them, dissatisfied.

The two residents quickly fled, intimidated by the armbands worn by the search team.

The armbands bore a shooting star design with the number "nine," signifying their allegiance to the ninth elder of Meteor Street, Vivian.

Scenes like this were common in the surrounding garbage mountains.

The influence of Meteor Street's elders extended beyond the inner city, reaching into the outer garbage mountain area.

Many local forces were either dependent on or directly managed by the elders.

Thus, when an elder's faction operated at full capacity, the manpower and resources mobilized were substantial.

Yet, despite their efforts from day to night, Ethan, Lisa, and Mia remained elusive.

In one of Vivian's strongholds in the outer garbage mountain area, Manda sat in a chair, her expression sour as she listened to a report.

"Sir, we've conducted a thorough search of the entire outer area but have yet to locate the three individuals you seek... They most likely left Meteor Street!" the reporter said nervously, quickly adding when he saw Manda's displeasure.

"Useless, all of you!" Manda shouted, smashing the armrest of her seat in anger, tempted to strike the reporter.

She needed to capture the target, and if they had indeed left Meteor Street, Elder Vivian would not forgive her for such a failure.

"Didn't I instruct you to block all exits? How did they leave?"

"I doubt you conducted a thorough search!"

Alongside Manda sat a man and a woman, both equally grim and dissatisfied with the report.

The man was Jason, and the woman was Paula, tasked with assisting Manda in capturing Ethan.

Though Manda led the mission, they knew failure would result in punishment from Elder Vivian, so they took it seriously.
