After three days of endless travel at immensely high speeds, the duo saw a massive mountain range.
"The guy we're looking for is in there?" Aria tremored. She would rather not walk into the center of the mountain range and be inspected by several thousands of dragons.
"Well, he doesn't even live in the mountain range. We're just going to be going to the base of one mountain," she said and began to pick up speed again.
"This land belongs to one of the dragon gods and he lives in the center of the mountain range," Aria said. "I think his name was Jotur, Dragon God of Skies. Of course there are many other dragon gods with their own kingdoms in other magic continents. Dragon God Hubris is definetly the strongest dragon god but he is within his home on the dragon magic continent so we won't encounter him."
Aria was busy burying herself in the realms of gods when she noticed that they had arrived at a large building with the words "Academy" in bold engraved on the entranceway.
Just as Aria was about to ask about this new ally, an ancient voice filled their heads. "What are Valerians doing here?" A woman asked. "Our races were never exactly friendly."
Celine ignored the disgruntled attitude she heard. "Greetings!" She yelled into the academy walls. "We come from King Arthur's domain and we wish to ensure our neighbors aren't weak or wishing ill upon us." This was the best lie Celine could come up with to enter this academy after a short few days of travel.
The woman inside the academy hadn't even shown her face but was clearly mulling over the situation. "Who's to say this isn't a ploy? That we won't be sieged by an army the moment you enter?" She asked
Celine didn't hesitate to respond. "To be frank, if the Valerian Kingdom wished to harm dragonkind on this continent, we wouldn't attack an insignificant academy when we will be facing wars soon."
Celine didn't hear a response and knew that the woman on the other side was still hesitating. She began to think of a solution. "If you are still unsure," she began to undo the mask of "change" concealing Aria's identity. "This is Aria Valeria, she would make a good hostage if the situation doesn't go in your favor."
The academy walls didn't have a voice penetrate them this time as a mighty elder dragon began to reveal it's appearance from the inside. It had what can only be described as a feminine feeling around it with shiny red scales.
One of the scaly eyes opened and gazed upon them. "Arthur definetly didn't send you two and I don't know what you people are planning but it isn't harmful so I'll humor you. Come inside," the dragon snorted.
Inside the massive academy, there was open space enough for several dozens of dragons to roam. They were younger so their size wasn't the same as the one huge female dragon laying dormant in the center of the academy but they still were larger than elephants easily.
Celine saw Aria have a shocked expression at this sight. Aria had never left her kingdom and rarely saw dragons because of their sour relationships with Valerians so the sight of this place amazed her.
"They say Dragon God Hubris is larger than mountains," Celine told her.
"How powerful would you say he is?" Aria asked. She was gauging the strength of her enemies for the future of her kingdom.
"Definetly not stronger than Cronos," Celine mumbled to herself. She still remembered how any mortal who heard that name would literally explode so she whispered. "That God could probably sink the entire continent he lives into the ground. Although I haven't seen him personally and I don't know how long he has lived, a god of his level should at least be able to accomplish that."
As Aria shifted into deep thought, Celine and her were walking around until she found the place from her memories. They checked huge corridor after huge corridor and saw many massive rooms with enormous dragons looking at them peculiarly before Celine finally stopped.
She looked at the place in her memories and smiled before yelling. "Ken Volatir! I challenge you to a duel!"
"Wait wha-" Aria was interrupted when a meteor landed on the ground and shattered the earth. Then, a shirtless boy in human appearance with a massive figure and flamboyantly red hair came from the resounding dust. He looked as if he was not even eighteen but had scars and bruises befitting a warrior.
A dangerous fighting aura surged around him as he commanded. "What are your rules, Valerian?" He sounded excited and stretched.
Celine chuckled at the misidentification of her race but eagerly responded. "No magic, no weapons, just hands," she said. "Oh, I'll try not to kill you."
Aria couldn't stop herself from trying to intervene in this crazy situation. "This is insane! You're not a close range fighter Celine! You're gonna be destroyed!"
Neither of the two duelers heard a word as Ken immediately dashed forward with an immense speed. "Not many are cocky enough to think they can beat me with fists alone!" He screamed.
Another meteor crashed upon Celine who nimbly dodged. She looked elegant and hadn't wasted a single movement while moving in for a counterattack with her leg.
Ken dodged the leg strike with ease but suddenly an immensely powerful fist showed itself near his face. "Feint!" Was the last thing he thought when he blocked that leg strike and was forced to take a massive blow to the face from Celine's fist.
"Good hit," he smeared a little blood from the impact on his face and grinned at the woman who had backed up.
"She's not weak at all. She's faster than me, more experienced in battles, has better technique, and better foresight." He deduced from that one strike he took.
Ken screamed loudly and dove at his opponent yet again. "Exciting!" He yelled.
