Hallucinating

When Celine realized the errors of this world, it was as if an alarm had gone off. "Things" were not the same anymore and "things" were acting against her.

It was as if the world had turned against her. Aria reacted negatively towards her and Arthur began to think she was delusional while Ray was outcasted for being a human in Valeria.

"What do you mean?" She asked when Arthur had told her something.

"You cannot stay in this kingdom anymore. You are too likely of being a threat to Valeria."

Celine couldn't understand what was going on. She had refrained from telling anybody her feelings towards Aria because she feared their reactions, but being kicked out of the kingdom? Celine wanted to tell Arthur everything right then and there.

A raging storm of emotions brewed within her as Celine's dam of emotions were about to explode when she let out a dead sigh.

"Okay… give me an hour to prepare and I'll be gone." Celine left her head low.

Celine didn't want to fight in this life and she especially didn't want to fight against the only kingdom that ever cared for her so she moped around the castle momentarily.

Truth be told, Celine didn't have to prepare anything to leave but she wanted to admire the scenery one more time.

The winds gracefully blew on a field of grass right below Aria's balcony that she never liked to step foot on. With the sun's warm embrace, Celine sat in that field of grass and hugged her knees while looked above to the balcony.

"Things are wrong this life," she mumbled. "But my goals and ideals will never change. I'll be back one day, Aria."

Elves rejected her, demons rejected her, even humanity refused and almost captured her.

Celine slammed her head against the wall.

No matter how hard she tried and what she accomplished, no race would ever accept her as an ally. Even more so, she was currently being hunted and was wanted by many races.

It was illogical, incomprehensible, and utterly baffling what was going on. The entire world had turned against Celine!

She sat alone in the night by a log while looking up in the sky. Celine had no idea what to do and the feeling of losing everything was beginning to gnaw at her.

Stupid solutions to the problems she had were formulating in her mind and her grip on reality was beginning to slip. The deep sense of having nothing but herself was beginning to destroy her mentally when she heard a voice.

"So it's you," the voice mumbled. "The error who should be removed."

Celine shakily turned to see a distinct species she knew of but never expected to see. The thing had brown fur all over it and a pointed snout but remained with a humanoid figure.

"You're a… werewolf?" She immediately fell to the floor upon looking at such a creature. The werewolves were immensely strong and feared among the alien races.

"Oh," the werewolf snarled and began to lose it's fur. "I took this form earlier as I was on the Helio world, but I'll transform into a human to ease yourself."

As the figure slowly transformed, Celine saw a face that invoked a primal sense of fear within her.

What she saw was an aged man with a plain robe and a long beard. There was only one man she had ever seen with such a face.

"Cronos!" Her mind began seeking ways to escape.

"Stop," his low voice reached when those thoughts of fleeing approached.

Suddenly, Celine lost all thoughts of running at his words but was met with his voice before she could figure out why.

"You and I both know that 'things' are 'off' in this world, correct?"

Celine slowly nodded in defeat. She couldn't move or even resist in the slightest.

Cronos didn't look surprised and spoke again. "What you don't know is that you are likely the cause of all the errors in this world. Because of that, I should remove you so our world can go back to normal."

A dangerous glint appeared in the eyes of the elderly man as the power of gods surged around him menacingly.

"However, I won't do that if you can answer me one question," a soft hand that wasn't firm at all was placed on Celine's shoulder.

"Have we met in the past, Celine Lithold?" He calmly asked.

There was no pressure on his grasp and he spoke softly, but Celine felt as if the pressure of the world was burdening her. She didn't know how, but Cronos could likely give her a true death with that aged hand on her shoulder so she refused to lie.

"Y-yes," she stammered as her voice became raspy.

The aged man said nothing while having an all-knowing look. It was as if everything had gone according to the schedule he had planned.

Cronos eerily smiled and slowly began to walk away. "Know that whatever happens next is your fault," he addressed without turning back.

"You caused yourself to hallucinate this world," Cronos added.

Celine didn't have the time to comprehend what he had just said.

"A great future awaits you, Celine Lithold. Survive this dream and I will ensure you live up to your potential."

The slow steps of Cronos resounded while he left without pause, but a small chuckle could be heard.

"Well, it won't be the me of this world. I am just imaginary." The small distorting laughs creepily left when a sudden pain surged within Celine's skull.

Celine crashed onto the floor within moments while the pain intensified and her whole world when black.
