MY THIRD FIGHT: RED BEAST

In her elegance and majesty she stood right in front of us. How she came in there, I had not the faintest idea.

She was dressed in a long flowing golden gown, adorned with diamonds and ruby. She had dreadlocks on her head, long and naturally black. The locks seem alive, because they moved on their own. Her eyes glowed and emitted blue energy. There were no shoes covering her fragile feet but she seemed unbothered by it.

Her skin remained dark in complexion but not in the usual way. The skin glowed with beauty, shinning without a single scar, smooth and well taken care of.

Mr. Gabriel and I stood in awe of the goddess in front of us. We couldn't even answer her warm greetings. One thing we had in common; we both loved her.

"What are you doing here Freda?" Mr. Gabriel broke the silence.

"I am here to save the young man." She replied.

I sighed in relief. Her words awakened the hope that was dead in me. Hearing her speak, was like hearing the voice of the Heavens.

"I thought we agreed not to interfere into each other's business." He said.

"Sol is my business, not yours Gabriel."

His eyes constricted. "How so?"

"I led him to this path." She said. "I haven't been at peace ever since. I am here to redeem myself by saving him from you."

Mr. Gabriel busted into laughter. He turned to me and said:

"Sol tell me… What does this witch knows about peace or redemption? Isn't she the reason you are here? She lewd you to your death."

"You face me and not him." She blurted.

"Do you think I am afraid of you?" He Chuckled.

"I didn't think so. That is why I came prepared." She replied.

I stood there in silence watching both of them exchange words. I knew quit frankly that sooner or later, a huge fight would break.

Mr. Gabriel stared at her a few seconds. He let out a faint laughter and said:

"This is my domain Freda. You don't come here and challenge me."

"Your domain?" She laughed. "Have you forgoten who made you lord over here?"

He frowned his face at her words. "I fought my way to become lord-"

"With whose help?" She interrupted.

"It doesn't matter now does it?… As far as I am concern, this is my domain. And you shall not come here and spell things out for me. I do as I choose, I rule however I want."

The moment after he dropped those words, he began to transform back to the form of the red beast. The transformation took only fewer seconds to happen. The whole garden transformed along with him again like the last time he transformed.

He was right about the hellish realm being his domain. Even though Freda's presence imposed a heavy impact on both Mr. Gabriel and his garden, she still couldn't stop him nor the garden from transforming into battle mode.

She looked at me said: "Ready yourself Sol, it is going to be a big fight."

I quickly did as she said. I tapped into my purple energy and readied myself for the big fight. It wasn't hard for me to harness the purple energy anymore, because I had become better with it but yet to master it.

Freda on the other hand didn't need any transformation. She was already in her god mode, ready to fight in her elegance and majesty.

She carried the same look, same expression of courage, boldness and dominance, even in a domain that wasn't her's.

The three of us stood in a triangular form, all ready for battle, two against one. A Powerful witch and a Mortal Soul, against an immortal red beast. All our eyes emits different energy colors. Mine purple, Freda's blue and the red beast's red.

The red beast stumped his right foot on the fiery ground and roared loudly. The impact of which shook the entire realm.

Freda and I stood our ground even though we were shaken. We only focused on him and were ready for any move he would make.

"Careful Sol" Freda warned. "In this form… He is extremely powerful and fast."

She didn't even finished dropping her words, when the red beast zoomed; Whoosh!

He moved so fast he left only an after image of himself. Before I could even blink, I felt a jaw-breaking blow on my face.

BANG!

The blow sent me flying some consideration distance away from where I was standing. I could only feel my back colliding with a burning rock.

BOOM!

"Ahh!" I cried.

His offensive move upon me obviously enraged Freda, because when I managed to open my eyes from where I laid, I saw her landing blows upon blows on the red beast, though he'd also retaliates with same strong impact.

I could tell through their fight that their strength could be on the same level. Every collision they made with each other would send waves of pains and destruction upon the hellish realm.

I managed to get myself up, even though wounded, I was still in for the fight. I calmed myself down and summoned the purple energy. I was going to rush into the battle when a voice interfered.

"Stop! Don't go there." The voice warned.

I immediately stopped. "Who are you… Show yourself."

Swoosh!

I quickly turned to see what made that sound behind me. When I turned, what I saw anstonished me. Behold, a weird but gorgeous bird stood on top of the rock I fell upon when I was blown.

The bird had the resemblance of a cockerel but it was obviously not one. It was big and white, with long tails like flowers.

"You are not on the same level with those two." She said. "Go there recklessly and you would be destroyed."

"What do I do?" I asked, still panting.

"The only way to fight the red beast is to use the power of ice against it." She said.

"I don't have ice powers." I confessed.

"You were once in the Ice realm and survived Ice King."

"Yes, but how does that has to do with the battle before me."

"Do like you did during your fight with Vo'ak. Use the power of memory and summon the power of the Ice used to inflict pain on you. Only then you can stand a chance with the red beast."

I smirked. "Wow! I can do that?"

"You did it once like I said earlier. You were able to convert anger and hatred into powers using memory. Do same now and help yourself and also the woman you once loved."

The fight between Freda and the red beast continued without a hitch. The impact of which continued to send chilling turbulence in the entire realm.

It was in the mist of that situation that I kneed down, closed my eyes and began to focus within me. I went back in time through memory to relive the experience i had during my fight with Ice King.

I delved into the pains, the anger and coldness. While I do my thing, the strange bird magically protected me from the impact of the fight between the two titans.

A few seconds later, my whole body began to shiver with cold. I immediately turned pal, my orifices began to emit cold smoke and Ice began to emerge right from body.

A few seconds more, the entire battlefield got covered with snowy ice. It was as if I brought the entire Ice realm into the place. The emergence of the Ice helped pursed the fight between Freda and the red beast. He groaned in anger and pain, he watched in awe as his domain got dominated by Ice from the ice realm.

"No! How is this possible." He shouted.

"What is wrong… afraid of a little ice?" Freda mocked.

He raised his head and sighted me kneeling down and meditating, He immediately realized that I was the cause of the Ice. He let out a loud roar and jumped off the ground.

BOOM!

He landed in front of me, breaking the protective barrier the bird was using to protect me. I heard the bird screamed and took off.

Even though he broke the barrier but it was strong enough to dramatically reduce the impact of his landing on the ground which would have caused a turbulence in the battlefield.

I immediately opened my eyes and zoomed off pretty fast, so much that it looked like teleportation. All I left behind was an after image of me.

I didn't give him any space… before he could think of anything, I landed on his broad shoulders and stroke him on the head with a ball of ice and zoomed off again.

I knew too well than to give him the pleasure of having dominance over me again. He groaned in pain, swung his hand over his shoulders but couldn't find me there.

Freda on the other took advantage of his dis-balance and began to aggressively attack him with magical blasts.

Even though the magical blasts were powerful, they weren't powerful enough to put the lord of hell down.

He took a huge brimstone covered in ice from the ground and threw it on her, but she used her magic to ward it off. But the brimstone was only a distraction, because while she was defending herself from the stone, he balanced himself on the ground and spit out fire from his mouth.

Swoosh!

Before Freda could do anything, the fire hit her strong enough to throw her to the ground. She didn't give him the time to celebrate, instead, she quickly ward off the fire and gets back on her feet.

Almost as if embarrassed of being thrown down by his attack, she used magic to telekinetically packed ice from the ground, mold the ice into a sort of blade and aggressively gave him a shot with it.

Her moves were too fast for the beast to catch. Before he could blink an eye, the Ice blade all clothed in magic pierced through one of his powerful horns and off to the ground it went.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

He screamed at the top of his beast voice so much that the realm shook.

From where I stood observing them fight, I noticed that for the first time, the red beast got stroke by fear, pain and devastation. That was just one horn, one horn made him cry at the top of his voice. Then I began to imagine what would happen if the other horn goes off too. I immediately knew what I had to do.

Freda on the other hand also noticed the pain he felt, so she quickly packed the Ice again, created another blade and threw it at him, but this time he dodged it swiftly. It was as if he expected her to make the attack again.

He expression fell, she was amazed at how fast he was able to dodge her attack unlike the first time. She immediately got frustrated and in the process let her guard down.

He smiled when he noticed her frustration, he saw weakness and a chance to finally strike her down. I also noticed everything and I immediately got worried for her.

He took off like a sport car toward her.

Vroom!

He was all ready to give his last shot. He knew with her guards down, he would win the battle. The mistake he made though, was forgetting that someone like me was right there and still in the fight.

While he rushed toward her, I rushed toward him. I summoned all the powers in me, created an Ice ball filled with purple energy and blasted him with it. He lost his balance and fell to the ground.

I was pleased by what I saw, so I made my next move. I place both of my palms on the snowy ground and used my powers to intecify the ice on the space he fell. The ice began to grow taller, stronger and sharper. They became like sharp swords, piercing through his body and holding him down.

He didn't scream or show any sign of pain, he only tried to break off from the Ice, but because of my purple energy, the Ice were too strong to be broken easily.

I quickly moved my attention to Freda and shouted:

"The other horn Freda, Now!"

She immediately understood the assignment. She quickly packed Ice from the ground, mold it into a sharp blade, covered it in magic and gave her most powerful shot.

Swoosh!

All we could see was the second horn rolling on the ground.

"Ahhhhhhhh!"

He screamed at the top of his voice again. The battlefield, which was the beautiful garden, which was also called 'The Lord's chamber' started shaking vehemently.

The entire place started falling apart, stones and debris began to fall down and liquid fire began to bust it way up.

Freda quickly created a portal using her magic and called on me to hurry up. I didn't waste anytime either. I zoomed off through the portal, and when she got through too, she closed it.

All we could hear from afar were the screams of Mr. Gabriel and many other creatures whose home we just destroyed.
