Leonardo stood silently by the door, his gaze fixed on Ariana as she rummaged through the wardrobe. She had no idea he was watching her. The short towel she had wrapped around herself barely covered anything, leaving her long, slender legs exposed. Her freshly showered skin glowed with an almost porcelain-like smoothness, her damp blonde hair falling in soft waves around her face and shoulders. She looked effortlessly beautiful, rebellious yet alluring, with a grace that seemed entirely unintentional.
He swallowed hard, feeling like a foolish teenager caught in the throes of infatuation. Since when had he started seeing her as a woman—a woman who could effortlessly command the attention of any man she wanted? She was no longer just his wife in name. She was undeniably captivating.
His thoughts darkened as he remembered the man she'd been with earlier—what was his name? Liam? That ordinary-looking guy with an unremarkable car and nothing to suggest he was wealthy or powerful. Leonardo had assumed that if Ariana ever left him, it would be for some older, wealthy man who could offer her a life of luxury. But Liam? What could she possibly see in him other than…
Love.
The word hit him like a punch to the gut. Could she really love Liam? The thought left a bitter taste in his mouth, one he couldn't shake no matter how hard he tried. It made no sense to him—why Liam, of all people?
As he stood there, grappling with his emotions, he realized just how long he had been staring. Shaking off his thoughts, he took a step forward, and the sound of his shoes against the wooden floor broke the silence. Ariana froze, finally noticing his presence.
She turned to face him, her eyes widening in shock. "What the hell are you doing here?" she demanded, clutching the towel tightly around herself.
But Leonardo didn't answer immediately. His eyes lingered on her for a moment longer, as if he were trying to memorize every detail. Then, he spoke, his voice low and laced with something unidentifiable. "I needed to talk to you."
Ariana frowned, clearly confused and slightly unnerved by his intense gaze. "me? Like this?"
He smirked faintly, though the emotion in his eyes betrayed the bitterness swirling inside him. "I guess I got lucky," he muttered, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
But beneath the sarcasm, Leonardo's thoughts churned with feelings he couldn't fully articulate. Jealousy, frustration, confusion—and something else. Something far more dangerous.
Ariana felt a flush of embarrassment under Leonardo's intense gaze. She mustered her composure and said, "This isn't appropriate. Could you please leave?"
Instead of complying, Leonardo stepped closer. "But I'm in my own home….speaking to my wife," he replied, his eyes tracing the droplets of water glistening on her shoulders. In a husky voice, he added, "If things were normal between us, you'd be in our bedroom, on my bed."
Trying to mask her unease, Ariana started to shout "Isn't your secretary, or Serene, or even Hana enough for you? Why don't you go to them?and leave me alone"
He moved even closer, his voice softening. "But Ariana you're more beautiful than them all ."
Feeling the walls close in, she stepped back, her voice trembling. "I want a divorce. I'll expedite the process and call the lawyer tomorrow."
Leonardo's expression hardened. "I don't want that. Especially now, after Hana's father's passing, this will delay everything."
"But I want the divorce," she insisted, her voice rising.
With a finality in his tone, "and I said there is no divorce right now"
She was frustrated and even nervous because of the situation and his words"I don't want it you can't leave me like this and I will be waiting for your decisions I will leave i am not staying her for another week"
In an unexpected move he grasped the edge of her towel and started to pull it "Are you sure about this"
She cursed him feeling the knot of the towel begin to loose as she reached up to secure the towel
He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him she gasped many times in surprise feeling the unwanted desire because of the feeling of her soft chest crashing with his firm strong body He lifted her face with his finger, and she remained stunned, gazing at him
All what she was thinking is his body sticking on her right now
As she was about to ask him what he is doing
He kissed her brutally and her body shudder of the desire Her mind was telling her to push him or tell him to stop, but she couldn't she surrendered to him
