Dreams for Aarya

One evening, as they sat together after putting Aarya to sleep, Arun brought out a small notebook.

"What's that?" Ria asked, curiosity lighting up her tired face.

"A journal," Arun said. "I want to write letters to Aarya. So one day, when she's older, she'll know how much we loved her from the start."

Ria's eyes welled up. "That's beautiful, Arun."

He smiled, opening the notebook. "Do you want to write the first one together?"

They spent the evening jotting down their hopes and dreams for their daughter. Arun wrote about teaching her how to ride a bike and taking her to cricket matches. Ria added her wishes for Aarya to be kind, strong, and curious about the world.

"Do you think she'll read this one day?" Ria asked as they closed the notebook.

"She will," Arun said confidently. "And she'll know how lucky we are to have her."

As weeks turned into months, their lives settled into a new rhythm. Ria returned to her passion for painting during Aarya's naps, often capturing moments of their little family on canvas. Arun, ever the hands-on dad, mastered the art of multitasking—taking work calls while rocking Aarya to sleep.

Their love for each other deepened as they faced each challenge together. They found joy in the smallest things—a quiet evening on the couch, Aarya's laughter filling the room, or the way she would fall asleep in their arms.

One night, as they stood by the crib watching Aarya sleep, Arun whispered, "You know, I used to think love was something you felt. But now I realize—it's something you do, every day."

Ria smiled, leaning into him. "And we're doing it together."

As they stood there, their little family complete, they knew that while life would always have its ups and downs, their love and resilience would see them through.
