Terrars (Humans) - Terrars are a resilient and adaptable species, characterized by willpower and resourcefulness. Their strength lies in their tenacity and ingenuity, surviving in the Arena through sheer determination, training and adaptability.
----------------------
There are several fighting styles in the Arena:
- Brute (Strength based)
- Duelist (Speed based)
- Analyzer (Strategies, traps)
- Enhanced (Powers given by a pact)
- Unleashed (Get stronger the more they fight)
- Bulwark (Endurance based)
- Illusionist (Deception, misdirection)
- Precision Killer (Long range)
- Shapeshifter (Adapt, "evolves" during combat)
- One-Hit Killer (Deadly attack ending battles with one move)
Scrap is a Duelist/Analyzer.
----------------------
Spectators are powerful entities from across the universe who watch, bet on, and manipulate the Arena for their own entertainment. They range from god-like beings to eccentric nobles, each with their own style, influence, and motives.
A Spectator can offer a Pact to a fighter. If accepted, the fighter gains a unique ability or enhancement based on the Spectator's nature.
- In return, the fighter must follow the Spectator's conditions, which can range from simple loyalty to mentally consuming demands.
- Breaking a Pact can have severe consequences—some Spectators consume those who betray them.
----------------------
Points function as currency in the Arena, used by both fighters and Spectators.
Fighters earn points by winning matches, gaining favor, or participating in events. They can exchange them for entry permits, food, gear and such.
Spectators can additonally spend their points to alter the battlefield (e.g., changing terrain, weather, gravity), send letters/messages to fighters, purchase 'interference rights' to add environmental hazards or fund bounties on fighters they dislike. Spectators obtain points through their Fighters (the ones they have a pact with).
----------------------
Events are massive, high-stakes battles orchestrated by the Arena's higher-ups. They are not simple duels but themed, chaotic, and unpredictable bloodbaths meant to entertain the Spectators and test the fighters.
----------------------
The Lower Leaderboard is where slaves fight for survival. It's a brutal, relentless competition where only the strongest can rise. Fighters here are seen as expendable entertainment for the Spectators.
Only the top 10 slaves are allowed to enter an Event.
Winning an Event is the only way to earn a spot in the Main Leaderboard.
Slaves are picked to duel in a Filler Fight. Filler fights happen when the Main Leaderboard fighters are preparing themselves.
----------------------
The Main Leaderboard is where true Arena warriors fight for fame, power, and prestige. Fighters here are considered valuable assets, and some even gain devoted fanbases.
Fighters here can issue and decline challenges (unlike slaves, who have no choice).
The top-ranked fighters are revered like legends.
The only way out of the Arena is to reach a rank high enough for retirement—though very few ever make it that far.
----------------------
Each duel won is awarded if the following conditions are met:
- Both sides must exchange blows
(Even if one side is completely outmatched, they must at least attempt a counterattack).
- There must be clear intent to win
(Staged fights or "fake struggles" are not recorded).
Once these conditions are fulfilled and one side wins (whether by knockout, surrender, or death), they receive points based on the opponent's ranking, fight duration, and Spectator influence.
....yeah if there's a way around it then let me know, i'll change it 👍.
