"First of all introduce myself, my name is Year. a game designer. Of course this is my side job. My main business is sending people across."

Year, also known as the silver rimmed glasses guy said to Rope with a smile.

"Bullshit, what do you take for yourself by sending people across?" Rope said coldly.

"Ah~ That's too small!" Year showed a sly smile, "I am such a great person, I love to satisfy other people's wishes. Seeing others happy makes me happier than seeing myself happy!"

Rope: (╯‵□′)╯︵ ┴─┴ Couldn't you have used a more elegant analogy?

"I'm not kidding. I don't know what the purpose of a big boss like you coming to me is, but I want you to be honest with me." Rope suppressed the fire in his heart, to be honest, it was really hard not to get angry, a guy who had changed the rest of your life suddenly appeared in front of you, and used a playful attitude to talk to you about this issue. It's really hard not to get angry!

"I think I'm still quite honest," Year snorted, then said, "But the person who sent you to the Pokémon world really wasn't me. Rather, it was an intern worker."

[Intern, another intern, what on earth did the intern do wrong! Damn it!]

Rope was ranting in his head, and Year rolled his eyes in front of him, obviously not interested in Year's statement at all.

Year looked at Rope's expression, a glimmer of divine light flashed under his eyes, and smiled, "What I said before didn't fool you, my mission is to help others travel through time and space, and then help others to open up, and the final harvest... you can understand that these worlds that have been traveled through have the hidden danger of destruction. Your mission is to help this world maintain stability. In this way, you can maintain the relative stability of the entire multiverse."

Rope was startled for a moment by the grandiose goal, then quickly grasped the point.

"Pokémon's world, you say, will be destroyed?"

Rope's tone was calm, but anyone could hear the waves beneath his calm tone.

"Emm, that's right, but that's not really relevant to you." Year said with a smile.

Rope's brow furrowed but did nothing overly aggressive, having calmed down he certainly wasn't going to lose his mind. After blasting Year in the face, he'd taken the edge off. Or rather, for something that simply couldn't be said to be good or bad, and in the face of someone who could crush him with one finger, Rope had wisely chosen to put himself in the position of a reasonable victim.

I'll make amends! Give me compensation and I won't give everyone a hard time!

"This has nothing to do with you per se, as I said, the intern's missteps when you crossed over. He hasn't even figured out exactly which world he's supposed to have you cross over to yet. That's why you're holding Flame-Flame Fruit in the world of Pokémon."

Year said with a shrug.

Rope was still frowning, still waiting for Year's next words.

"The intern student has been jointly dealt with by the Civilization Recycling and Administration Bureau, the Spacetime Administration Bureau, and the Universe Maintainer Guild because he violated a series of treaties, including the "Code of Mutual Interference of Civilizations", the "Criteria for Selecting Space-Time Travelers", and the "Basic Regulations for Maintainers". He has to face many charges, and I don't think the outcome will be good."

Year said in a rather helpless tone. To be honest, just this was the reason why he, the boss, had given this intern a good word, otherwise it wouldn't be a matter of it ending badly, it would have already ended.

That's the kind of blunder that no one could even say anything about if they were shot directly by the guys from the Cultural Affairs Bureau.

"And you," Year looked at Rope, "are the product of that blunder, and I'm here to deal with it this time, as long as you're willing to leave it alone, the intern's guilt will be less severe, and our company's blunder can be squashed."

The room fell silent.

Rope didn't answer Year first. and Year didn't rush it, instead he was relaxed after these very heavy words, instead he slumped down on the couch as if he was in his own home, not at all out of sight.

After a long time, Rope opened his mouth, but asked a question that didn't make much sense.

"Earlier, the time and space I changed in Granny Agatha's dream, was that your handiwork?"

Hearing this question from Rope, Year replied in a rather puzzled manner, "That's right, that was my handiwork, and in fact, it was just the use of the Dream Laws and the Laws of Time and Space. After you reach a certain level, these are all pretty normal operations."

Actually normal my ass...there are no more than ten people in the entire universe who can do this, and even more so only four or five in plain sight...

"So, here, now, is this reality, or is it a dream?"

Rope asked in a low voice.

Year laughed out loud for a moment, then said, "This place can be reality if you want it to be! I just called back the results of your disappearance, then projected the state you should be in now, and made a copy of some of your best friends in the Pokémon world to arrange in your life."

Pretty egregious behavior...

"Why would you, as the owner of a company, suddenly appear in front of me to deal with a minor blunder." Rope asked suspiciously.

This was out of character. Since when did you need a boss to come after the sale?

Year's smile froze, and it took a while before he explained, "First of all, right, you're already mixed up in this world. If that original 'savior' were to show up he wouldn't necessarily do better than you, which means you're very talented. And to be able to have the achievements you have now while hanging on the wrong side of the fence, your potential is truly something to look forward to."

"Plus, this matter is not as small as you think. This matter actually involves the company's reputation. Although our missions are usually issued by major organizations and are basically in a monopoly position. But if the major organizations were to handle it themselves, they would just lose a lot more stuff, not to the extent of breaking bones."

"In conclusion, I do personally apologize for the situation. That's why I personally came to your door to apologize and make amends."

The smile on Year's face was genuine, but Rope knew that he'd be lucky to believe half of what the man said.

But the point really wasn't about Year's visit right now, either.

"So let's talk about compensation."

Rope's movements changed, as did the expression on his face. He relaxes back into the couch, then looks at Year with a smile.

Year also changed the way he got along, sitting bolt upright like a bounder who'd gotten the bill, with none of the air of a big boss.

"I have two options on my side, you listen to them haha!"
