Celadon Universe’s Field Course (2)
Rope and Erika exchanged pleasantries for a while, and didn't get too deep into the conversation.
These two really didn't know each other well...
Erika was a Gym Leader all right, but she'd actually favored the education field over the years. So for the past few years one has been teaching at Celadon University. This is different from Hoenn's Roxanne, who focuses more on basic education for children.
Although she was good friends with Red and Blue, Erika had never been to Pallet Town, so she didn't know Rope, and was surprised when Professor Oak said that he would introduce a new Professor from Pallet Town to teach two days of classes at Celadon University.
After all, teachers who taught sparring classes still didn't care much about breakthroughs in theoretical research. After getting the news about Rope, she even made a point of calling Red to ask him about it.
"Right! When I called Red yesterday, Red asked me to take a message for him." Erika covered her mouth and laughed lightly at Rope.
"Er, I'm sure it wasn't a nice message to say." Rope said rather self-consciously.
Erika laughed softly, then said, "He said 'When I get back to Pallet Town, I'm going to kill both you and Blue...' hahaha!"
With that, Erika couldn't help but laugh, and Rope could only scratch his head in embarrassment.
"What the hell did you and Blue do? Pissed Red off like that, it's the first time I've ever heard him say so much at once! Hahaha..."
Erika laughed a rather unimaginative laugh, but the incident really did make her giggle at the thought of it, as Red's sultry tone on the phone at the time was really so out of character for his usual persona.
"It wasn't much... it was just a matter of lulling... tricking... both Yellow and Misty into going to Mt. Silver for Red's special training anyway." Rope couldn't think of any better words to explain his behavior after a while, so he simply brushed it off.
Erika's smile froze on her face. Truth be told, the relationship between Red, Yellow, and Misty was clear in the minds of the acquaintances. But they generally didn't mention it in front of them either.

"Since Professor Oak introduced you to teach at Celadon University, then we are also considered colleagues, and my youngest daughter would like you to join me in protecting the safety of these students. Of course, if you have any other arrangements, hardly my daughter will not force you."

Whitley said, "I'm talking about your going out more than bumping into ghosts physically... aren't you afraid of stumbling into something big again and then involving these students? As Ms. Erika just said, the ones who are out this time are all research students. It can't be a big deal."
Rope 'hissed' and took a breath of cold air... although he was like accusing Whitley of slandering someone's innocence out of thin air, but... he couldn't really accuse him of that...

"Don't crow... it's going to be fine." Rope gave Whitley a gentle brain crash before looking down and contemplating if something big would happen...
