Your Troublesome Problems…

"Aren't you going to meet Lance and Lorelei?"

Inside the Fuchsia Gym, in the parlor, Koga asked, dressed in a kimono and holding a teapot as he poured tea into his and Rope's teacups.

Rope shook his head, "Seriously, they can handle things just fine with or without me. It might be better to let them deal with the Pokémon Ranger side on their own without me."

Saying that, Rope looked at Koga, who was sitting upright in a kimono in front of him, and asked with interest, "That's the first time I've seen you dressed like that. Am I opening up any limited skins here?"

Koga raised his head to look at Rope and shook his head, "It's always a strange term to hear from you," he said, putting the teapot down and lifting his teacup, "Because now you're here it's not like it used to be. You're now Pokémon Professor, the mainstay of the League, whereas before you were a follower of Red, Blue, and Professor Oak, and even though we're friends, we still can't use the etiquette of entertaining an honored guest."

"It's okay now? You're really looking at the food." Rope gave Koga a contemptuous look.

Koga gave him a decisive blank stare.

"It's all just rules... and while I don't really like them either, I'd better be honest when there's a bunch of old men watching who can't be beaten or scolded." Koga said helplessly, taking a sip of his tea before setting his teacup down.

Rope also picks up his teacup and takes a sip, raising an eyebrow, "Looks like my treatment has improved quite a bit haha, even the quality of the tea has gone upwards..."

"That's nonsense, it's just that I've gotten my hands on some good tea lately... you guys... Whenever you come I'm not going to treat you with the best tea..."

Koga shook his head helplessly, this guy in front of him who was about the same age as his own daughter was really too difficult to deal with, and he was still the kind who was unforgiving in his reasoning...

"Don't get sidetracked, you know what I mean, are you still mad at Lance and the others?"

Koga knew he wouldn't be able to beat Rope around the bush any more than he already had.

So he went single-minded.

"...Who of you would believe me if I said there wasn't some resentment... I don't believe it myself." Rope bristled before taking another sip of his tea and draining his cup.

Koga looked hard to watch, only feeling that Rope's bull drink insulted his good tea...

What kind of tea quality do you ask for with this... next time this guy comes back, just serve plain water...

"Then you tell them plainly... do I have to mediate in the middle of this?" Koga was helpless as well, as long as it was something that went with Rope, most people would just have to eat their words. He could only lift the teapot and pour tea into the cup in front of Rope again.

"A bunch of guys... am I that petty? It's not like I didn't know that I was still a small player at the time I made the motion, so it's only natural that they don't care. Furthermore... the survival of the Safari Zone isn't really that big of a deal. I just feel aggrieved for those Pokémon... Lance really didn't do a good job this time."

Rope said with a calm face. He really didn't blame Lance, he made this gesture essentially not to show Lance, but to let those guys from League learn a lesson, to let them understand that they weren't that negotiable.

Of course, Lance was along for the ride...

"You have to understand Lance too... that guy runs both ways every day... Kanto and Johto are so big... you can't expect him to really take on the guise of Superman and crack down on all the illegal crimes... "

Koga looked at Rope and said indifferently, "Furthermore, you shouldn't forget that the reason why it's not easy to control such things as violating crimes is because many people have more or less had the experience of hovering on the edge of committing a crime... You're also someone who has traveled before now. Naturally, you know the basics of the wilderness... how about a few thoughts?"

"It's really messy enough, but it's really unmanageable..."

Rope reminisced about his experiences along the way, and naturally, his experiences wouldn't just be the big things. Even though he and Whitley had tried their best to pick the less traveled paths, they still occasionally encountered trainers with bad intentions wandering around... after all, a pretty-looking girl could still easily give people evil thoughts.

And the Pokémon in Rope's hands were all of the rarer kind.

There were all kinds of minds.

But of course, none of them succeeded... Why did Whitley watch Rope let Entei kill so many people and basically do nothing...

She had already seen the darkness of this world...

Of course, while the wilderness was certainly dark, what was even darker was naturally the human heart.

In a world where personal force is elevated through Pokémon, this is naturally even more so...

As an aborigine, Whitley was naturally able to accept it relatively quickly...

As for Rope, there was nothing he couldn't accept already.

"Yeah, couldn't care less... how many trainers have clean hands? The only ones I know are you and Red, Blue..."

Before Koga could finish, Rope hurriedly interrupted.

"Come on, come on, don't rub it in my face, all I can say is that I haven't made any major mistakes... I won't hesitate to use those tactics when it's time to do so." Rope said as he waved his hand back and forth.

Koga shook his head, it wasn't even that he hadn't made any big mistakes...wasn't he still here drinking tea and chatting with Rope now that he had made a big mistake? People with power can often be so capricious, but of course, the power behind them is not to be missed. Unless you can push the entire Kanto League by yourself, in order to maintain your own authority, you will be given a big one to make you remember the lesson.

"Speaking of which, why are you back? Wasn't this side handed over to Janine? Shouldn't you be in charge of the Elite Four's duties in Johto?"

Rope asked suspiciously. This was true, by all accounts, Koga, who had already let Lance give Janine the position of the head of the pavilion, had no need to come here to preside over the dojo battle. Moreover, the Johto Elite Four was also very busy. Because the other regions have five Elite Four champions, the two regions together are ten.

And both Kanto and Johto combined were only eight people together.

It was basically the equivalent of only the Elite Four not having a champion... so the Elite Four naturally had a bit more power. Of course, that corresponds to a bigger workload.

Seriously, the Elite Four Champion basically didn't have much of a desire for power, but letting the Elite Four Champion handle the relevant matters was also a tradition from the beginning of the League's founding.

The purpose was naturally to put a shackle on the League's power. To be able to become the champion of the Elite Four are inevitably strong, and the possibility that these strong people are all from the same force is very slim.

A strong force coupled with a stance that was not necessarily the same as League's, allowing them to take power was in itself a weakening of League's dominance. It can be said that the system of the Elite Four Champions is perfect, as the League can maintain its purity, after all, there are only five of them, and it's basically impossible to destroy the entire League.

It can also win over some clans and get them to stand with the League.

It would also give those clans the hope of promotion and power, so that they wouldn't have to watch League rule and then lose hope.

But now, it seemed that there were still a lot of clans that weren't willing to fail just like that...without bulls in their families and with not-so-small ambitions, it was safe to say that the outbreak of conflict was inevitable.

"You still have the nerve to say that Safari Zone is right here in Asahi City, and after making such a big mess, our family is going to be investigated. After all, everyone says we're the groundlings, it's hard not to know about this..."

Koga finally had an emotion other than helplessness, but sadly it still wasn't a good one...

"You guys really didn't know?"

Rope's eyes instantly glazed over, staring intently at Koga.

"What are you looking at me for! Don't be paranoid!" Koga chortled in an uncharacteristic manner.

But after carefully recalling the situation, Koga sighed softly and said, "Janine and I are fine. As for the others in the family...I don't really have the courage to vouch for them, you know that...the interest in this kind of thing is just too great..."

Money moves the heart, and this reasoning still works in the Otherworld.

"I know, check yourself." Rope shrugged, full of disinterest.

"No self-check, let Lance and the others check. Bunch of assholes deserve to get cleaned up if they're actually involved in something like this then."

Koga's tone was clearly on the cold side, and it was obvious that he also hated this kind of thing.

One should know that even Koga, who had been in the dark world back then, hated Pokémon traffickers...

"But Rope, you also have to know... there's no end to the fight against such things as traffickers..."

Koga looked at Rope and shook his head, heavily.

"I know, that's why I only fight the ones I can see."

Rope wasn't a fool, he never wanted to be any kind of partner in justice, but there was nothing wrong with stomping on things like the road.

You can't treat yourself as blind even when you see it.

"It's good that you know, you're a smart person, I don't need to advise you on anything. Just watch yourself."

Koga still marveled at the intelligence and talent of these young people, compared to these guys, Janine could really only be described as an ordinary child...

You can't compare this kind of 'other people's children' to your own children, and it's just that your own children don't take it seriously. It's the ones that are taken seriously that are in big trouble... don't put too much pressure on your kids... there's a limit to what you can do, not everything can be pushed...

"Say, that little girl next to you?"

Koga asked, recalling Whitley's face.

"My protégé, and as you know I've recently set up a new discipline well. She's my assistant, and will be my successor as well if nothing else."

Rope said with a smile.

Koga disdainfully skimmed his mouth, "Still a successor, how old are you looking for a successor, Professor Oak hasn't even said that he'll let you take his place until now."

"It's not the same...never mind, you wouldn't understand even if I told you."

Rope was just about to explain, but realized that he couldn't seem to explain it any better.

Koga nodded, but he didn't pursue it any further.

"Do you know about the organization Servants of God?"

Koga asked suddenly as if he suddenly thought of something.

"I know quite a bit, I'm recently tracking down this organization, what? Did you come across it?"

Rope asked back a bit surprised by this question from Koga.

"Met it, a guy with a Tornadus mask...frivolous and not weak, I can't say I'm definitely stronger than him without even playing my bottom card."

Koga recalled the guy from his memories, still amazed at the guy's strength.

Rope was also pondering, he did know that things like masks were status symbols in Servants of God, and that you could only use a Legendary Pokémon's mask if you reached a certain level. As Ice reported to him, Ice's mask has changed from Froslass to Articuno.

Although Ice doesn't have Articuno as a Pokémon...

Similarly, the guy with the Tornadus mask doesn't necessarily have a Tornadus either. ...This still depends on the circumstances. But it's true that those with Legendary Pokémon masks are basically not weak.

Tornadus was strong as the Elite Four, and although Koga wasn't considered a strong Elite Four, this guy in front of him was definitely one of the best when it came to being difficult to deal with. If he could make Koga feel tricky, then the strength of that Tornadus was something that couldn't really be ignored.

"He said he's here to find Plate, and I don't know exactly what that means. I've already had the place circled. Do you want to check it out?"

Koga knew that Rope's research was pretty much something, and while he didn't know exactly what Tornadus, or Plate as Flight was actually looking for, meant, he still felt that Rope would probably know about this stuff.

"No, there's no need for that... and honestly, I don't think these guys can really handle Plate," Rope shook his head, Arceus's Plate doppelgangers were running around all day long, busy cleaning up messes all over the place, and it would be best to leave them alone as well. As for Servants of God's so-called capture of Plate... no kidding, Plates are immune to native skills and are powerful. There's no real sense of entity yet.

You can burn your own body and still use a handful of full-power Rock-type Judgment. Not to mention Elite Four, Rope didn't think Red would be able to take that hand easily.

Although he didn't know why this parallel world was slightly different from what he had seen in anime, manga, and games. But this world's Arceus' form of existence was really unseen and unheard of by Rope.

So this world's Arceus has always been the place where he feels the strangest.

But Rope's greatest strength is not thinking about what he can't understand or waiting until he's gained more clues.

Rope felt that it would be best if he didn't think about investigating Arceus until he was sure he could take a big shot from him.

"Alright, I still trust you on that front." Koga nodded.

"Do you intend to challenge me or Janine when you come here this time?"

Rope barely even hesitated when he heard the question, "Since you're here, of course I'm challenging you. After all, I've been holding my Entei back from a good fight for a while now."

"Alright, after dinner then."

"Fine, then I'll have the cheek to dabble in a meal!"
