"Rope, Sister Ming seems to be hostile to you." Whitley said coldly.
Rope's hand, who was playing the game console with Whitley, paused for a moment.
He deflated his mouth, frowned, and said in a rather surprised manner, "You can see that too?"
Whitley nodded though he didn't quite understand where Rope's surprise came from.
"Is it hard?"
Whitley asked suspiciously.
"If Ming's likes and dislikes could be guessed so easily, then this company wouldn't be in such a good position."
Rope shook his head and said, "In business, especially if you want to be a businessman of Ming's and their level, not showing your joy and anger is already a basic skill."
Rope reached out his hand and touched Whitley's head, "You little girl is still quite talented in this aspect."
After saying that, Rope withdrew his hand and stroked his chin.
"What? Seeing that you're about to lose, you're not going to fight anymore?"
Whitley looked at the screen and saw that although it had stopped, the blood level of Charizard, which Rope was controlling, was significantly lower than that of Samurott, which Whitley was controlling.
Rope had been taken aback when he first saw that this was the character for the arcade game.
Let's just say that cultural differences are reflected in every aspect of life.
"What are you thinking, am I like that?" Rope said with a serious look on his face, "I was just wondering if I should take you to meet Mew."
"To meet Legendary Pokémon? Then why don't you just go meet Manaphy?"
Whitley couldn't quite figure out Rope's logic, it was logical to go straight to meet Manaphy, hello and hello and hello and hello, just down the road.
"Lugia and Kyogre both woke up after the last big event, and neither of those two will be touching fish and sleeping for a while, so Manaphy will take advantage of that time to catch up on building little Fayona."
Rope said this with quite a sense of helplessness himself.
A bunch of Legendary Pokémon, one or the other, every single one of them thinking about touching fish. If Manaphy hadn't faced Lugia and Kyogre when he realized he couldn't beat anyone. I guess the ones who usually did the work would have been replaced.
Whitley's mouth was also agape.
Were the Legendary Pokémon so grounded?
Either they were sleeping or making babies.
"Is their entertainment life that uninspiring?"
"Not all of it." Rope said as he hurriedly shut down the game interface in a panic and then brought up the friend screen.
Ignoring Whitley's disdainful look, he pointed to a guy with Mew's avatar on it and said, "Mew just likes to play games, and every month he asks me to get him some games, digital versions or game cards will do."
Whitley looked at the buddy logo with the in-game green lettering that Rope was pointing to, and then looked down the list of Rope's buddies for those other buddies with Legendary Pokémon icons as their avatars...
"Don't bother looking, there aren't too many of them like Mew! ..."
[So there really is more...]
Whitley looked at Rope with a complicated expression on his face, he really didn't know whether he should praise Rope for being awesome enough to teach these Pokémon to play the game, or whether he should say that Rope was leading them out of their way.
"Don't think about it, I'm doing them a favor. Small law fluctuations are ignored if you sleep. Playing games awake is no problem."
Rope's face was full of righteousness as he said this.
"Which means... there are indeed minions..." said Whitley, whose eyes had now taken on a pilgrimage-like gaze as he looked at Rope's generic list of gaming friends.
Thinking about it another way, though, the ultimate treasures of other disciplines were all so-and-so theories, so-and-so doctrines, so-and-so stereotypes.
As a result, when it came to them, the ultimate treasure trove was a list of game friends...it was really a bit of black humor.
"Yo, it's at this point." Rope glanced at the time alert in the upper right corner in passing, "It's time to go to bed, let's play by ourselves tomorrow."
"Not with Sister Ming? You're at least a shareholder of the company, you still have to accept their reception, right?" Whitley looked at Rope and asked suspiciously.
"It doesn't matter, more money from the company is good for me, but it's not too bad when it's gone. I previously wasn't interested in the company, doesn't make sense that I'd be more interested now that I'm a professor." Rope shook his head as he put the console away.
"Fair enough." Whitley nodded rather approvingly, knowing quite a bit about what Rope had been through.
There was no reason for anyone living in the Oak household to have never seen any of these so-called luxuries, much less to be too big on money. And after the greatest pursuit in the eyes of this unusual person wasn't pursued, it was natural to pursue other things.
Such as research, such as strength.
Everyone's starting point itself is different, some people work hard to make money, some people work hard to kill the boredom of not needing to make money.
Whitley wasn't the latter before, but looking at the way Rope was grooming her, it was probably intended to smash her into the latter.
"Whitley, just say what you want. It's not as abundant in the wild, but it's different now, on this ship, you'll have everything you want that you can't think of. Anything you want just straight that's fine, just give my name and have them deduct it from this year's dividend afterward."
Rope said to Whitley with a yawn.
"Okay, got it, I'll go shopping hard tomorrow then!"
Whitley's tone had the thrill of hitting the dirt. Seriously Rope had always lived a life that wasn't considered luxurious, so she a thought that Rope didn't really have much money on hand. That's why she spent her own money when she went out. After all, her family is also a cultivation house, to say that rich is not possible, but to say that lack of money but also will not.
But since Rope had said that she could spend as much as she wanted, she naturally wouldn't be polite.
"There's a call! Rope!!! A call from Cynthia!!!"
Rotom hurriedly ran out from Rope's room, then said in a busy panic.
"Hey, Cynthia. Emm, I've arrived on the ship, I guess I have to stay here for two more days, after all, a cruise ship, it's normal to stay for a while longer, and after two days you can directly Cinnabar Island."
On the other end of the phone, Cynthia, who was nestled on the sofa, said with a smile, "That's right, it seems that you, the shareholder, do have a lot of face, S.S. Anne has been around for so many years, and this is the first time I've heard of a temporary change of route."
"It's not bad, technically it's not to give me face, but to give Manaphy face."
Rope's words came over the phone with a light chuckle.
"They haven't gone to Sinnoh yet this year, I'll take you back on the boat after I play the Indigo Plateau Conference."
"Nah, I'm not really interested in those places, I haven't had much of a desire to go back after going once or twice as a kid." Cynthia shook her head at Rope's invitation as well.
"Forget it then, I'll see you then, the next League Conference I'm playing in is the Lily of the Valley Conference!"
Rope said with a grin.
Cynthia helplessly spaced out and rolled her eyes, "You're not even weaker than some of the Heavenly Kings, and you're going to play Lily of the Valley Conference?"
Rope said matter-of-factly, "What's wrong with that! Traveling away for three years or less counts as a newbie trainer, and the League Conference faces newbie trainers, and even those who aren't newbie trainers can participate."
Cynthia laughed softly, "Fine, fine, can't stop you, but I still think you can drop by the Championship Tournament so you can hurry up and come and take my place."
"Tch, Cynthia you've changed, you used to love working so much."
"It's not like you've been taking me to touch more fish?"
"Eh, seems like it's on me haha, okay, I'm responsible for what I do, but I don't plan on playing the Championship Tournament right now, the little guys aren't quite keeping up with it for the time being, so I guess I'll be pretty much done by the time Lily of the Valley Conference is played. And to take over the title you'll need to be recognized by the Sinnoh League as well, so when the time comes I'll fight...Aaron in the challenge after Lily of the Valley Conference."
Cynthia thought for a moment and said, "That's fine, but don't hit too hard when you do, Aaron's still a kid!"
"Aaron then...eighteen or nineteen I think...isn't that just a year or two younger than me?"
Cynthia was flabbergasted at Rope's words, forgetting that she herself seemed to be two or three years older than Rope...
"Alright, just watch it, I'm still comfortable with your planning..."
"Cynthia."
Rope suddenly interrupted Cynthia.
"Eh?"
"I miss you too."
Rope said softly.
Two blushes flew up on Cynthia's cheeks.
There was a moment of silence, then she said softly, "Eh, I know."
The tone of her voice carried a hard-to-conceal joy.
"Wait for me for a few more days, I'll look for you after I finish the gyms."
"Okay."
"Go to bed early, it's late, good night."
"You too."
Cynthia instructed softly before hanging up voluntarily.
Looking up at Professor Carolina, who was grinning at her from across the couch, she gave a happy and proud smile.
Professor Carolina helplessly laughed and shook her head. Just how long had it been since her own granddaughter had seen this kind of little girl gesture.
"Mission successfully accomplished, Lotto!!!"
The cell phone in Cynthia's hand flew up and then saluted towards Cynthia then said.
"Thank you, Rotom!"
Cynthia smiled and spoke to Rotom.
"This little thing is really handy, even Grandma I don't have one yet."
Professor Carolina looked at the Rotom cell phone and couldn't help but exclaim.
Both the Rotom Pokédex and the Rotom cell phone were still under research right now and hadn't really come into great shape, after all, these Rotom that were willing to stay in the Pokédex and cell phone were still in the process of being cultivated.
That's why there are very few of them in all but the Alola and Galar regions. Even for a professor, it's not something that's easy to get.
"Then I'll turn around and ask Rope to get one for you as well?"
Cynthia asked with a smile on her face.
Professor Carolina gave the little heartless one a blank stare.
"Just kidding, Rope already has it for you, but the production of Rotom phones is still low, so yours is already in the works."
How could Rope not prepare it for his own elders? Even if he forgot to prepare it for Professor Carolina, Professor Oak wouldn't have forgotten about it. Although this thing was researched by Clemont, the large-scale production and cultivation bases were in the Alola region, and the big investor was the Oak family.
So when it comes to Rotom cell phones, the real limitation is the scarce production.
Professor Carolina nodded with satisfaction at hearing this.

"That's the end of the fight? Loto?"
Rotom asked, not quite understanding. It didn't feel like these two had talked about anything.
"What more do you want?" Rope asked coming at you with a smirk on his face.
Whitley couldn't quite figure out why Rope was suddenly happy. But naturally, smart and witty little Whitley picked up on a few things.
For example, Cynthia knew that they had been on S.S. Anne, and most likely knew that Sister Ming had come to greet them.
But the rest of the words really didn't have the slightest bit of smoke and mirrors, just the normal nagging about the future. The sudden 'I miss you too' at the end also left Whitley a little confused.
These two guys' relationship seemed a bit different from the one they thought about.
"It's nice to be passionate. But mediocre is good too!"
Rope seemed to see Whitley's confusion and stroked her head then said.
"Go to sleep, we are going to take three days on the ship, these three days you can have a blast."
"Okay, got it!"
Whitley also kind of learned the little skill of going with the flow from Rope.

S.S.Anne, in the luxury suite
This suite's décor is very chic, with colorful roses decorating every corner of the suite, and everywhere you look there are roses. Everywhere you look, there are roses. But not to the point of boredom, but rather to the point of beauty.
Such a design is difficult, and it is also very demanding on the owner of the room, if the room is inhabited by a person who can not overpower the beauty of the room, then the owner of the room will be reduced to a companion.
Good thing it was Ming who did that.
The entire room only served to accentuate her beauty.
She was sitting on the sofa, watching the TV with a glass of red wine in her hand, still wearing the long red dress from the daytime. Instead of a bright smile, there was a hint of gloom on her face.
Beside her, a woman in a black suit was bowing and said, "Miss, the chairman hopes that you can have a good relationship with Professor Rope, he is a very important partner of ours, and according to the investigations we have been doing, Professor Rope is not just a researcher anymore. "
"He has also hit a high level of strength as a trainer, but we have not been able to probe into the specifics. The Gym Leaders who fought against him were reluctant to give us his information."
"And as of right now, there's only good and no harm in us pulling Professor Rope in for the company, and judging by the fact that most of Professor Rope's dividends over the years have gone into charitable endeavors, there's not much of a need for money on Professor Rope's part."
"To continue to maintain a relationship with Professor Rope, we can only play the emotional card. The chairman hopes that you can be rational."
Ming was silent for a while, then drank the red wine in his glass in one go.
"Are we worse than them?"
Ming didn't know if he was asking the woman in black or himself.
"Miss, we're not the same as them..."
