Who is Actually the Villain

Rope and the others watched silently as the white light came over Monferno. Hoopa looked around warily, wary of outsiders who might disturb Monferno's evolution.

That didn't happen though.

Jikan was shocked by the same aura that poured out of that stick. Seriously, it was hard to imagine that there could actually be such a shocking stick.

It was as if he had turned his entire life into a stick and struck out in that instant without thought or thought, without end or leakage.

"With this stick, Monferno... no, Infernape has the capital to challenge Giratina alone by himself."

Rope looked at Monferno, whose size was slowly changing in white light, and couldn't help but sigh seriously.

Hoopa also nodded his head in recognition of Rope's statement.

Seriously, that stick, it was a bit close to the Dao.

In the white light, the little monkey that was evolving from Monferno to Infernape closed his eyes as picture after picture appeared in his mind. A strange looking monkey danced with a stick and frantically fought another strange looking demon of unknown species. Every move carried a destructive stance.

He also saw his parents, who wielded the sticks in their hands and fearlessly rushed towards a large group of super-armored mad rhinoceroses.

And that towering lord of distortion world...

These memories entangled and plagued him. The white light on his body dimmed a bit.

Rope and the others had a scowl on their faces. The white light was going to dissipate even before the evolution was over... was the evolution going to fail after all? Even after striking a stick like that, there was no way to break one's own demons?

Rope let out a soft sigh. Hoopa even directly shook his head with some hatred.

But in the end, both of them didn't say anything.

This kind of thing, if you can't see yourself open, then others say more is just a waste of effort.

Instead of being upset about this failure, it was more important to think about how to make him succeed next time.

Just as the crowd was feeling a bit lost, Monferno's aura surged once again.

He seemed to have coalesced that stick again.

But there were no flames on his body, and he didn't move. White light covered his entire body, and Rope and the others couldn't see his expression.

Monferno looked at the scene in front of him with no other thoughts in his mind. Just in his consciousness, he drew out his long stick and then struck that out.

'Ding' the sound of a mirror shattering rang out.

In the next moment, all of those images all turned into crystalline crystal powder. It was as if they had never existed.

And in the realization, Monferno's body had a white light lit up.

This was his mind's demon, and today, this stick would finally help him to cut down his mind's demon.

Everything is empty, no thoughts, no thoughts. Only by pressing himself onto that stick could he truly face the gods.

The way the white light bloomed again was seen by Rope and the others. Although it was said that there was some confusion as to what exactly was happening. But ultimately, it was a good thing. So there were smiles on the faces of all of them.

Whitley looked at the monkey in front of her and was in a bit of a trance for a moment. She had been traveling with Rope for almost a year now. This little monkey had literally been her witness the entire time since it was born.

In less than a year, this little monkey had already become a Pokémon that had a top Elite Four rank when it was normal, and could even challenge and even kill stronger Champion level Pokémon...

And after the enhancement, Infernape could probably face the gods head on.

The white light quickly dissipated. An Infernape with a long, unquenchable flame on its head appeared before everyone's eyes.

Its entire body was predominantly reddish-brown, with white fluffy fur growing on its head, chest, calves, and feet, and golden-yellow swirling scale armor on its shoulders, chest, backs of its hands, and knees.

Like Monferno, Infernape still retains the facial stripes above its face, though they have changed from blue to red. Its eyes are expressive, with blue orbs set in yellow sclera. It has long, slender limbs with blue fingers and toes, five fingers as well as toes, flames wrapped around its hands and feet, and a long tail behind it.

This was Infernape, a divine, powerful Grand Master.

Infernape walked in Rope's direction, then gave Rope a big hug.

"Cha. (Thank you.)"

Rope gently patted his shoulder and said, "What's the point of being polite with me. We're family."

So Infernape let go and nodded with a smile. Of course he knew there was no need to be polite with Rope at all. They were family. There was no need for much politeness between family members.

And it was then that the raging pillar of fire finally dissipated, and yes, for the not-so-short period of time that it had been evolving, the pillar of fire one had burned and roared and made its presence known.

The pillar of fire dissipated, and a seemingly powerless Houndoom lay sprawled on the ground, gasping for breath.

Rope sighed as he looked at the flames of life that were like candles in the wind, threatening to go out at any moment. Some Pokémon might not be innocent, but in front of a dying life, everything else seemed so powerless.

Hoopa and the others couldn't see the Flame of Life in Rope's eyes, but what they could see was... Houndoom's aged appearance.

The current Houndoom didn't even look like a Pokémon that was still in its prime, but more like an old, frail Pokémon.

"It looks like it's dying."

Whitley muttered softly.

And the outsider-like Aohane looked at this Houndoom in front of him with sadness.

He and Jikan were also considered to be of the same generation, so that meant that their Pokémon were all about the same age. Even his Bisharp was a bit older than Houndoom's age. But the current Houndoom, appeared in front of him in a dying posture...

"Jikan! You jinx! No one who has been with you has come to a good end! Your brother was killed by you! Your Pokémon will be killed by you now!"

Aohane's words came out heavy. But they were also spoken with feeling. Jikan had gotten Jitetsu killed, and now he was about to get this Pokémon of his own in front of him killed, so he was right now.

This person, is a jinx.

Before Aohane's words had even left his mouth, a black shadow leapt out from the depths of the forest. It attacked straight towards Aohane.

Aohane also didn't dodge at all, although there was some element of not reacting in. But Aohane just stood there, as if he was planning to confront that guy head on. There was no intention of dodging at all.

In the end, the black shadow still couldn't break through to Aohane's body. Just kidding, Aohane was surrounded by Diana and Whitley. would Rope let such a dangerous guy get close to his own people?

So the man was lifted up by Hoopa with three fingers on his chest. The black smoke from his body almost formed a shadow roaring madly.

Hoopa took a deep breath and quite a bit of the black smoke was sucked into his body.

Eh?

So he took another breath...then another...

By the tenth time he inhaled, Rope kicked Hoopa's calf in a bad mood and said, "Stop inhaling, if you inhale too much, you'll get indigestion."

"This is normal! How can I have indigestion?"

Hoopa didn't have the good sense to say. However, he still obeyed and stopped absorbing energy. By the way, he gave himself an energy probe.

Rope ignored him as well, just looking at the crazy-faced teenager.

This was Jikan, the one he had blinded in one eye.

"See Whitley, sometimes mercy isn't necessary when dealing with someone like that. What you need is not to show him mercy. Because he won't even be grateful for it."

"If you don't punish him, he'll think you're weak. But when you punish him, he'll think about giving you back a share of all the punishment you've inflicted on him."

"That's why it's either don't say hello to this kind of person or... cut him off. Of course it's to be rooted out after squeezing out the utilization value."

Rope said it in a breezy way, not like he was telling some story about killing and rooting out. Rather, it was like saying general knowledge points like 'Starly, bird Pokémon, Flying Normal type...'.

Whitley also nodded after hearing Rope's words, signaling that she understood. She could also see that Rope was keeping this guy with a heart of gold just to teach himself a lesson.

Of course, the fact that there was still such a great harvest on this guy was indeed outside of Rope's expectations. First, it was the strange foreign energy, and then the origin energy of the dark system. The fact that the energy of this village was not on the idol, but was instead sealed in the body of a teenager was somewhat unbelievable in itself.

And in favor of this person, there was the appearance of foreign energy in his hands, it would be bullshit for Rope not to have a little association...

"You've really given me a big surprise."

Rope said rather emotionally as he looked up and down at the now somewhat odd looking fellow.

Jikan, however, just glared at Rope in a sinister, frantic manner, with no intention of answering his question. Rope didn't really care though. This guy's death or life didn't matter much to him, although as of right now, it was obvious that this guy was worth a lot more alive than dead.

"Tell me about your means of strengthening Houndoom, and what the hell is going on with all this energy in your body. I'll give you a pain in the ass."

Rope looked straight into the guy's crazed eyes, not a hint of fear, only faint disgust...

"Why would I... tell you...!!!"

Jikan's speech became hard, and by the time he got to the last three words there was even some hint of pain contained within.

Rope shook his head, "You're going to be miserable if I don't want to give you a hard time."

After a moment's thought, he re-emphasized, "It's really going to be miserable, and you don't want to go through it, trust me."

Hoopa was really speechless listening to Rope's words that were not even remotely threatening. Had this guy never threatened anyone before? How could this kind of light threat return to make people afraid?

But before Hoopa could open his mouth to teach Rope how to threaten others, the Jikan in his hands let out a painful scream.

The sound even startled Aohane, Whitley, and Diana off to the side. It was also Hoopa who had seen a lot of things but still his hands shook.

Even if he had seen a lot, he really had never experienced such a miserable howl. It was like...Hoopa couldn't even describe it.

It was probably the feeling of a man being raped by a man and then having a brick shoved in his hole...

So tragic a man...

Now that everyone was looking at Rope with a smile on his face, they all felt that something wasn't quite right... this guy, how in the world did he act so harmless?

Of course, everyone wouldn't dare to talk about this in front of Rope...where do you get the guts to ask questions while a coolie is interrogating someone.

"Don't scream so loud, it's useless for you to howl, the Heart Flame is burning your consciousness or soul, while the White Flame is directly burning your body's muscles. Although it won't cause too much damage to your body for the time being, believe me, the next thing you know your limbs...all five limbs will be wasted in all probability."

"Oh, you're going to die...then words like wasted shouldn't scare you, so...still not going to say anything, little one? It's painful, isn't it."

Rope said with interest.

Hoopa's mouth twitched as he said, "That...Rope looks to me like he'd like to talk, he just doesn't have an extra mouth."

After all, that mouth was entirely devoted to screaming in misery.

"Why don't you stop for a moment and let him open his mouth?"

"Don't, what's being said now probably isn't the truth. Just wait a little longer."

Rope was being cautious with that, it just didn't quite sound human...

People are surrendering, they can't wait to tell you everything they know and then so you can give them a hard time. But now you're actually addicted to torture...

Who's the villain among you guys!!!

Hoopa felt like he wanted to say "fuck" but he didn't know whether to say it or not. But seeing Rope's interested look, he decided to keep silent.

After another moment, Rope finally did stop torturing Jikan, then opened his mouth and asked, "Answer the question I just asked."

Jikan was breathing heavily, and the malice under his eyes couldn't be hidden or collected, so he didn't even dare to look at Rope right now...

"The 'Blood Burning Pill' used to strengthen Houndoom was something a woman gave me...I've given Houndoom one before, and it's great...even my brother's Pokémon couldn't defeat me It's just easy to lose control. My brother was bitten to death by Houndoom. I didn't mean to...I just...thought it was funny."

The crowd in the room went silent after this part of his speech...

Fun? That kind of reason...he killed his own brother?

Diana couldn't help but shiver.

Rope's face didn't change much.

"As for these things you said I have on me...I don't know exactly what they are...I really don't know anything..."

Rope could tell the guy wasn't lying. So with a violent swing, he knocked Jikan out.

"Since you don't know I'll find out for myself."
