Rope’s Path

"So that woman, who the hell is she?" Rope asked with some confusion as he looked at the patch of sky in front of him.

In fact, he knew that the woman was bound to be the otherworldly visitor.

But what exactly was the value of this world? The company was looking for someone to save such a world. There were other people who were also plotting against this world, what was it about this world that attracted their attention so much?

That's what puzzles Rope. But he also knew that he wouldn't get an answer even if he did ask. After all, if Year did not tell him the matter at the beginning, then unless he investigated it himself, or else Rope would not get the answer in the end.

It's almost as if it's forcing the obsessive compulsive disorder to die.

The stars in the sky blinked as if they were quietly listening to Rope's words, but weren't going to tell Rope the answer. Well, they must know. Because the stars of this world had witnessed the arrival of who knows how many otherworldly visitors.

Of course, when the world was destroyed and ended, even the stars could not escape their fate.

Rope actually liked this world. Whether it's the people, or something else. There are actually certain people who like every world. Even the dirtiest of hells would have sinful flowers blooming in it.

There were no high or low people, let alone a world.

Whitley sighed as she listened to the window looking at Rope, who was reclining in a recliner looking at the stars, and then shook her head silently.

"What's wrong?" Diana asked with a soft smile.

She set the spoon she was holding to the side for a moment, she had learned to cook a few times under Rope. The talent wasn't bad, and she had learned a third of Rope's essence of cooking. As long as it was done with care and diligence, it would taste really great too.

So when Rope was swinging for the fences, she would let her do the cooking...As for Whitley, Rope still wanted Whitley to stay out of the kitchen for the rest of her life.

For the safety of the kitchen.

"This Rope guy has probably run into something he can't figure out again."

Whitley said with a shake of his head, before lowering his head once again to tap away on his computer, organizing some of the information he'd gotten in the meantime.

"Professor Rope...can't think of anything?"

Diana was a bit stunned, did Rope actually have things he couldn't figure out?

But soon she reacted. Of course, it's not like Professor Rope is a god...no he seems to be a god...anyway, Professor Rope isn't an omniscient person.

Then of course it was only natural that he would be confused right now. Why would one be surprised over such a thing?

That's when she noticed the look Whitley was giving herself.

"What, what's wrong?" Diana asked, a little puzzled.

"Sure enough you are too." Whitley shook his head somewhat helplessly, then said, "The more time I spend with Rope, the more I feel that this guy is omnipotent, so I was surprised when I saw that he would agonize over these things."

Diana marveled at the accuracy of Whitley's description.

"How do you..."

"Of course I know... Sister Diana, I was exactly like you before. Only I'm still not sure if what Rope was wondering about that time is resolved now..."

Whitley shook her head somewhat helplessly. Since Rope couldn't figure things out on his own, he would never throw that question to Whitley and the others, at least not when he failed to solve it.

"It's only at times like this that I feel like Rope is a normal person."

Whitley shook his head somewhat helplessly, "But I still don't like seeing Rope yo distress."

No one would want to see someone they were concerned about in distress.

Diana nodded, she hadn't spent much time with Rope and the others though. But the general relationship with each other had been mapped out.

You'd be lying if you said Whitley didn't have a special place in her heart for Professor Rope.

Even she, who hasn't been together for a long time, can't resist Rope's charm, not to mention Whitley, who has been with Professor Rope all day long and has been through hardships with him. It's wrong to judge people by themselves. But thinking of a person in terms of their human nature works most of the time.

Lust. They're all the same...

Rope didn't realize at the moment that the two girls in the house were watching him, and he was still thinking about whether or not he wanted to actually walk through the eighteen villages.

Three villages had already passed. He had already found a very large number of them, very valuable for research. But rather unfortunately, time waited for no one.

He didn't have the time to study these things properly anymore. All he wanted to do now was to find the answers and end this mission of saving the world.

A wife and children were much more comfortable than a gold belt for murder and fire.

Rope whistled, then looked at the stars. It was as if time would just stop.

But the next day they still had to leave on their journey.

"The other village we know is in that desert. In the middle of the Gobi Desert on the edge of the desert to be exact."

The village headman carefully indicated the location for Rope on the map.

It wasn't exactly far from here. But it definitely wasn't somewhere you could get to quickly by walking either.

"But we don't have much other information to give you, Professor. they haven't come to contact ours in a long time. And we're...even less likely to contact them."

The cheif was and is a bit embarrassed to say this.

After all, it could technically be said that the various villages that were part of the same clan were now basically out of contact with the other side, but no one was thinking of going to the other side. To say that they were having a falling out was again quite a stretch. It shouldn't be a big deal to say that they were estranged.

"That's enough, we'll find out for ourselves."

Rope smiled and retrieved the map, looking twice at the locations of the four points he had already marked. Then silently shook his head...there wasn't anything substantial to be gained.

It seemed that either the locations of these villages really didn't have any special meanings, or...that if they wanted to find out what those meanings were they would still have to determine the locations of more villages.

Rope had also mentioned to Hoopa that Arceus wouldn't receive any messages while he was sleeping unless they were pulled by the Ocarina of the Heavenly Realm, and the Ocarina of the Heavenly Realm was the real meaning of the word.

And the Ocarina of Heaven is truly missing...

No one knows where the Flute of the Heavenly Realm really is, and even if Hoopa said he knew that the Flute of the Heavenly Realm was hidden in a temple somewhere, Rope wouldn't be completely convinced.

Not to mention Hoopa's title as the God of Tricks and Mischief, just the fact that this guy hadn't even mentioned this matter to himself before was not worth Rope's complete belief in this matter.

If Hoopa was really sure, they first went to save Arceus, and then a lot of things would have been answered directly.

There was no need to think about the trouble now...

"Then I wish you a safe journey!"

The village chief said seriously to Rope. It was as if he was sending off his old friend on a long journey...

Rope, however, nodded without a care in the world before turning to leave.

And just before leaving the entrance of the village, he once again turned his head to the village chief and said, "Village chief, a piece of advice for you."

"You say." The village chief still had a respectful face.

"If you can, it's better to let the kids go out. The only way to really fit in is to see the world."

Rope was originally going to say that...

"Forget it...it's fine."

And so Rope said nothing.

Looking at Rope's back as they faded away.

The village chief stroked his beard, somewhat helpless...

"Village Chief... Professor Rope he..."

Sangato looked at the old man in front of him with some doubt. he couldn't guess what Rope wanted to say, but this old man might be able to.

"Nothing more than wanting us to actually see the world...get the kids out to school. Not sure why though. But I was relieved the moment I learned that Jikan was dead..."

The chief shook his head and, when he finished speaking, he turned around and walked towards his house.

"Rope why did you suddenly stop saying those things to the village chief?"

Whitley asked, a little confused.

Rope is a talent lover.Whitley guessed when she saw the way he looked at Aohane that this guy guessed that it was a pity that people like Aohane had to be trapped and locked up in this village and not able to see the world at large.

That's why Rope's words that didn't make it out of her mouth, she had already guessed.

"The outside world is just fine?"

Rope laughed softly, "We always think about letting people see the outside world, but we never even think about whether or not these people would want to see the outside world."

"They're not like the people in that village of Eiichi's. They enjoy this life in the village. It seems so primitive. But when you think about the people around you who are always treating you with ill will and aren't tripping you up twice, wouldn't you also think that this kind of life is not so bad?"

"People...each has their own way of living...Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. By the same token, do not do to others what you would not want done to you."

"Not everyone likes what you like."

Rope finished, then whistled and walked briskly towards where the car was hidden. It did seem like they had gotten lucky, after three or four days, the car was actually still parked where it was and no one had moved it.

Whitley and Diana listened to Rope's words, but they couldn't help but fall into deep thought.

"Professor Rope...has a point."

Diana pondered for a while, then said seriously.

Compared to Whitley who was untouched by the world, she, a social animal who had been in society for two years, was also well aware of these things. The Mustard Seed Orchid Research Institute was equally full of hookups.

However, the status of researcher was already one of the easier professions in this world.

The construction uncles who were busy on the construction site with Pokémon like Howley and Building Tinker were even more laborious.

But there was beauty in everyone's life, it was just a matter of whether you could find it or not.

"You two! What are doing? Hurry up! We're about to set off! The next village is a long way!"

Rope lifted the car and gently placed it on the highway, then shouted to the two of them.

Well, they were hiding the car as well as Rope had passed by.

Thinking about it like that, it wasn't surprising that no one stole the car.

After all, that place wasn't even passable by car.

"Coming!" *2

————————————

Pallet Town, Professor Oak looked at the pile of information that Rope had sent back through Rotom with a frown on his face.

Blue walked over to Professor Oak with a tea tray and scanned the information twice before saying, "Rope is this another discovery?"

Professor Oak did not look at him, just stared at the information and nodded, then reached out his hand towards the tea tray.

He touched the teacup, then touched it, and nothing was there.

He looked at the tea tray with some surprise.

There was only one cup of tea on it-.

"Where's the dessert?"

Professor Oak looked surprised.

Aohane shrugged his shoulders and said helplessly, "Don't be so preachy, my sister is not at home right now. I didn't learn any cooking skills..."

The corner of Professor Oak's mouth twitched slightly, and suddenly he remembered that his granddaughter's resources had gone to work as hard labor for some little bastard.

Hmm, now the little bastard had sent back a huge pile of information for himself to use as a drudge to organize...

"Rope the asshole?!" *2

The grandchildren cursed Rope together. Then they shook their heads helplessly.

What else could their own grandson (brother) do?

"What is this information about?"

Aohane helplessly changed the topic.

Mentioning this, Professor Oak didn't say anything else. Handing one of the documents to Aohane.

"Just take a look at it yourself, at most read a couple sentences to Red, and don't tell anyone else."

"My sister?"

"Your sister's side still needs you to inform..."

Aohane thought about it. So he honestly read the information.

As a result, before he could see the five lines, shock was already written all over his entire face.

"Is there really a basis for what Rope said?!!!"

Blue's voice was appalled and shrill. This was not out of character for him. Rather, it was that people would unconsciously be shocked and exclaim in horror when they saw something that truly exceeded their ability to withstand.

Professor Oak shook his head and said helplessly, "For the time being, it's still Rope's speculation. But while I have no way of proving him right, I can't prove him wrong on this speculation either."

Aohane was still surprised. Still, he saw the end of the general outline of this report.

"From all of the above reasons (details and explanations are in the subsequent information), I have a suspicion that there may not be one Arceus. Rather, there are two of them...one of them...is an Arceus that looks different from the Arceus of our home world, and should be a celestial alien without any surprises."

"Arceus...there are two? This...according to what he mentioned before, the creation god of that other world, died in the era of the Wash Cui?"

Blue opened his mouth and said in surprise.

"It's also possible that the one who died was our god."

Professor Oak said indifferently...

And so the entire research room fell silent.

Even Professor Oak was taken aback by this conjecture of his.

"The breakup of the other world, is the God of Creation running away?"

Blue also ventured a guess.

"The timing doesn't quite match, does it...the information is too little...the information given by that Rope guy is too little, it's just not enough..."
