Suspension

"I'm not going to tell you guys what's going on here right now."

Rope looked at Lance and the others, who were looking shocked, with a helpless, bitter smile on his face. Then said.

"Let everyone else go back by the way. news of Sabrina's injury shouldn't have gotten out yet."

Lance subconsciously nodded and said, "No, I specifically instructed that. The others and I came with some other reason too, nothing to do with Sabrina."

Rope nodded his head in satisfaction. he was still very comfortable with how secure Lance was in his work.

But Lance soon realized that something was wrong, he was not Rope's subordinate, so why did he answer so dryly...

The corners of his mouth twitched slightly, as if he was wondering when exactly it was that their Four Heavenly Kings Champion had started to become Rope's henchman. Rope didn't know what Lance was thinking, because Lance himself had a special ability, so he couldn't see through his thoughts. It could only tell his mood.

Lance's mood right now, was complicated.

"Calm down, Lance. I have my reasons for not telling you the truth right now. And later, when the time is right, I will explain everything to you and apologize to you."

Rope opened his mouth to reassure Lance.

But after those words, he realized that Lance's mood seemed to be worse. He was a bit puzzled for a moment. But didn't think much about it either. Just took it as Lance the guy still thought he didn't trust him.

In reality Rope just didn't trust him either... not just him, all the people who came this time Rope wouldn't trust. Until Sabrina's crisis is resolved, Rope won't tell anyone what Sabrina told him in the hospital room.

It's still mostly for secrecy and fishing.

There's also some idea of letting the crowd see for themselves. Would you say that there really isn't anyone in Sabrina's position who would blame her? Not really. Though none of the things Servants of God had gotten up to had resulted in a particularly big fiasco.

However, since the beginning of the Great Incident, every time Servants of God would do something that would cause the people in the League to labor.

Most of the trainers hate Servants of God, and if Sabrina is saying that I'm the one responsible for Servants of God's invasion, I'm not from this world. If Sabrina said that I was the one responsible for the Servants of God invasion and that I am not from this world.

Maybe some people would really start to hate Sabrina, or even hate her.

Because in every action of Servants of God...there are always casualties.

Rope couldn't possibly do something like this that would cause Sabrina's reputation to be tarnished, or even make it impossible for her to continue staying in League. So the only way was to keep this matter from him for the time being, wait until Ms. Psychic was caught, and then tell everyone about these things.

In this way, everyone would be able to not send the anger in their hearts to Sabrina for no reason.

Thinking about this, Rope suddenly realized that he still had to talk to Aka as well... he didn't fully trust Aka though. after all, it was just too easy for Aka to fall in line. And for Red to abandon his beliefs or existing plans.

It had to be because there was a better opportunity.

Rope wasn't sure, so he had never really been comfortable with Aka.

Still, he should have been informed of something like this by now. After all, what was happening now wasn't just about their world. Ms. Psychic had joined forces with the guy who had destroyed Aka's world...or rather, submitted to it.

There was no telling how Aka would react upon hearing the news. But Rope could also predict that it definitely wouldn't be a pretty face.

It's amazing to think that Rope has something to look forward to...

We can only say that Rope is not very much like a thing most of the time.

Rope briefly explained to Lance and the others, Lance and the others saw Rope's attitude was resolute, naturally they also knew that they couldn't get any words out of him. What's more, it's better not to get any words out of them either.

Rope's intelligence was definitely not the top in League. Even in terms of scheming he wasn't truly unrivaled. Seriously, if Daisy and the girls were to make plans for some things, they would probably be much more perfect than the activations that Rope had made.

But in reality Rope couldn't rely on anyone.

Because there are a lot of hidden secrets behind this. These hidden secrets can not be told to the people around him. He can only keep them in his stomach, and Year has specifically warned him.

Don't think about doing something illegal in secret... If the Cultural Affairs Bureau was so easy to guard against, it wouldn't have caused so much headache to the countless forces in the endless void, or even made them afraid.

Rope also wouldn't think that the things he thought of could be easily concealed from the Cultural Affairs Bureau.

It definitely wasn't the Cultural Affairs Bureau that he had concealed from himself. Rather, the Cultural Affairs Bureau wanted to make themselves think that they had concealed it from them. Then when the time came, they would directly teach themselves a big lesson.

Rope had grown up with a small amount of guts, and would occasionally do some adventurous things. But this kind of thing where ninety-eight percent of the time will be settling scores is of course something that can't be done.

After briefly explaining a couple sentences to Lance and the others, Rope even made a point of running to where the others were and barking out instructions once more. You have to know that this is not a small matter, and you can't be sloppy about it.

The remaining people were mostly the heads of the relevant departments, and some of Sabrina's friends. After Rope told them to keep the matter a secret, they all agreed. Honestly... they didn't have much of a choice in the first place.

Not listening to Rope... this is Kanto! You're too brave not to listen to Professor Rope!

Rope himself doesn't even know when his image has changed to that of an evil king.

Maybe it's too much to call him an arch-villain, but there's no problem with calling him a villain...

Those who know what Rope is really like feel that Rope was wrongly accused.

But no one stood up to say something on his behalf.

Just kidding, if Rope's image was more perfect, he would be the desired ruler of the entire Kanto region.

Those who are not on good terms and want to regain their power will not promote a positive image of Rope because that will favor Rope's rule.

Those who are on good terms don't talk about it either. Because if Rope's image is positive. There's no guarantee that some girls won't see Rope's face and start to foolishly move in on Rope.

In that case wouldn't their own family have many, many more competitors for no reason at all.

You have to know that there are a lot of talents in those commoner families as well. Just in case that talented beauty girl gets Rope's eye. Then wouldn't they be doing someone else a favor?

So Rope's image was slightly scandalized in such an unspoken way.

Now the people in Kanto area are not too favorably disposed towards the existing rulers. Because they've really reformed a lot of the paralysis since they took office. And some of Professor Oak's ideas were all able to start implementing them without reservation.

Including the favorable policies for new trainers, and the basic protection of Pokémon. All of these have begun to be implemented without compromise.

It was also the first time that Professor Oak felt that Rope's thought of holding the entire Kanto in his own hands was not a bad thing.

The image of Rope as the leader of the Kanto region's rulers was more like a godly, temperamental, and unapproachable guy in their eyes.

You're going to say this is a black eye on Rope. It's not. You'd have to say it's all true, and it's not even close.

After all, Rope does look like a dragon and does seem a bit temperamental, and it's more than certain that he's not approachable.

It doesn't feel like there's much to wash. So even the Oak family has no intention of redeeming the image of their heir...

Rope himself doesn't know about this for the time being, and would care even less if he did. He couldn't wait for his troubles to be fewer, and it would be best if everyone didn't come looking for him.

Life is hard to be confused, and naturally, it is also hard to be quiet.

So after discussing these things, Rope went back to see Sabrina.

Sabrina was in the hospital bed watching the images on the TV with a smile on her face and words in her mouth.

Rope had good hearing and could faintly hear Sabrina's voice from a distance.

"Hurry up and end the fight, Entei!"

Sabrina muttered softly with a smile.

And the next second, Rope's own voice came over the TV.

"Hurry up and end the fight, Entei!"

And so Rope suddenly realized what Cosabrina was watching.

As soon as he entered, he glanced at the TV, and sure enough, it was footage of the finals of his own Indigo Plateau Conference...

Sabrina saw Rope enter the door and the line she was about to say was instantly withdrawn from her mouth.

Smiling, she asked, "Finished working?"

Rope smiled and nodded before pointing to the TV, "Why are you watching this?"

"Because I'm going to bed in a little while."

Sabrina tried her best to make her face appear not so red.

Rope didn't react at first... but when he did he could only suck in a breath of cold air...

Damn, that was a bit of a foul move...

"You watch this every night before you go to bed?"

Rope asked, particularly oddly.

Sabrina didn't deny it even though she was blushing, instead she nodded seriously.

Rope seriously felt that he had gotten himself into trouble. Idle nothing you ask a hammer!

"Ahem. I just came to let you know that you've been recuperating for the past two days. Although I don't know if it's working or not, I still can't come to see you often for the sake of secrecy, so you have to take care of yourself."

Rope said seriously.

Sabrina also nodded seriously. The coolness on her face was also finally coming back a little.

Rope pondered for a moment before speaking again, "Since Whitley already invited you. Then I don't need to invite you again. I'll come pick you up in three days for New Year's Eve."

Sabrina's face showed a hint of exhilaration and she nodded vigorously.

Rope forcibly restrained the corners of his mouth that wanted to twitch. It was still hard for him to avoid wanting to give himself a smack in the mouth after he said that.

It was just as well that Cynthia wasn't around on New Year's Eve, otherwise he'd have been punished for not being allowed to go to bed at night after all this mess.

A middle-aged man might hear this and be forgiven. But for a young man like Rope, the biggest torture is to be seen but not eaten!

So Rope, who had a complicated mood, didn't say anything more. Instead, he nodded to Sabrina and walked towards the door.

He still had to go back to prepare for the New Year. It was best to act as if nothing had happened.

He didn't know what kind of moves that his own opponent wanted to make.

So now it was best to just stay the same and respond to all changes.

————————

"Back, how did it go?"

Daisy asked as she looked at Rope coming out of the Hyperspace Hole.

Rope nodded and said, "It's no longer a big problem. Things we did were very secretive, and it shouldn't be noticed. But what exactly the other side wants to do, I don't understand."

Daisy pulled Rope into the room, then pressed Rope onto the sofa, poured him a cup of tea, and opened her mouth very seriously and asked, "Tell me everything you can. I'll analyze it for you."

Rope nodded and organized his words for a while, then he opened his mouth to tell everything he could.

Daisy naturally listened very carefully. After all, she was not very good at these things though. But there were also a few points of understanding. More importantly, two people thinking is always a little better than one.

So a few moments later...Daisy surrendered...

"I don't have much of a thought process either. The other party isn't doing themselves any favors at all with this approach!"

Daisy also rubbed her temples. What she was more specialized in was the exchange of benefits and the hooking up in politics... it didn't seem to have much to do with this side of the world...

The specialty was also out of place.

As for Sabrina and Cynthia... the two of them were even further removed from words like scheming and plotting and planning.

"I think... a situation like this should be that the people on the opposite side don't want to clash head-on with you, Rope."

Suddenly, Sennogi's voice entered amongst the ears of the duo.

Rope and Daisy were both somewhat surprised as they turned towards Sennogi over there who was carrying a large box and preparing to go hang the lanterns.

Sennogi looked at Rope's puzzled eyes and could only speak, ''Although I don't know what happened before. But no matter what, Rope that rival you speak of should have closed his hand in this matter."

"Otherwise no matter if he did it himself, or if he intercepted the teleportation, he would have been able to put Ms. Sabrina to death. These things since you, Rope, think you can do them with ease, it doesn't make sense that this person can't do them."

"That is to say, the other party doesn't seem to have any intention of killing Ms. Sabrina at all. And the reason that could make that thought come about, after I thought about it, it seems like I can only think that it's because of you, Rope."

"Because of you, that person didn't want to kill Ms. Sabrina. The reason for that isn't very clear, but the purpose is clear, either to get you to let your guard down or not want to cross swords with you."

"But since you are naturally hostile, there is no such thing as letting your guard down."

"So the other party should be thinking about trying to avoid a head-on conflict with you as much as possible. Or even befriend you..."

Sennogi spilled out a large amount of words. Then suddenly looked a bit timidly at the fuming Rope.

"Am I wrong?"

Rope finally came back to her senses and looked at Whitley with an odd expression on her face, then bit her head and shook it, "No, Sennogi, what you said makes sense!"

Seriously, Rope could only come up with the same explanation no matter how he thought about it.

That's why he was now looking at Sennogi like he had a line of treasure waiting to be unearthed.

Sennogi had a blushing smile on her face.

Daisy, on the other hand, looked at the girl rather fondly. Not sure what she was thinking.
