Why is Origin So Strong? (2)

Rope looked at the simple plate of breakfast in front of him, took a deep breath, and then took a big bite.

The first bite was like a generous one, the second was just slightly contemplative, and the third was just ecstatic.

Holy crap, does Sennogi cook that well?

Takeshi was more or less puzzled by Rope's headless posture. Takeshi looked at Rope's head posture, more or less puzzled. Looking at Sennogi, who was looking at Rope with a doting face, and even owed himself a look, he had some complicated feelings for a while.

Roughly, it is the same feeling of seeing the cabbage that you have been modeling for so many years, rushing to arch a pig.

Well, it was hard, but for some reason there was some relief.

But Takeshi looked at Rope with a hint of resignation in his eyes. It wasn't that Rope had just abducted his sister; Rope's excellence was obvious to everyone.

Even those who had briefly chatted with him could feel his power and excellence. Some people are like that, even how much they want to hide themselves, subconscious words and actions are enough to show how good they are.

To make others fall for it.

However, Rope is going to leave. Even though he knew that Rope would still be able to meet Sennogi after his return. But how could it be easy for Sennogi, who had been sleeping in that ice and blue light for more than sixty years?

Takeshi suddenly understood why Rope had refused to tell Sennogi about himself.

There were times when a phrase that we would always see each other again was definitely not as simple as a single phrase that we would see each other again.

In many cases, that one sentence could very well be the hope of a life.

Takeshi didn't know if Sennogi had held on for over sixty years in that darkness with those words, but Takeshi felt that... there was definitely an element of that.

That's why Takeshi and Rope are afraid to tell Sennogi about this, they don't know if Sennogi can hold on.

Sometimes being strong doesn't justify giving someone a brutal answer.

Especially, when the matter could have been resolved easily and willingly by both parties.

Something that is obviously delicious tastes the same in Takeshi.

When there's too much on your mind, even the most delicious thing will eventually be bland and tasteless.

Of course, it all depends on who has the most excitement, and Sennogi's breakfast is very good, but it's still not the kind of breakfast that would make Takeshi happy. But in the end, it still didn't reach that level of being able to make people forget their sorrows.

"Brother?"

Sennogi's call roused Takeshi from his own musings.

He jerked his head up to meet Sennogi's eyes full of doubt and smiled, "What is it?"

"What are you thinking about? Spirited?"

Sennogi inquired seriously.

"Nothing, it's just that that business before suddenly remembered that there's a number that seems to have been checked wrong. It's going to be a big loss."

Takeshi spoke naturally.

A look of distress was duly brought to his face. But Rope, who had looked up from listening to the conversation between the two of them, knew that Takeshi wouldn't even be able to eat for that. Even after a brief chat he knew that the reason why the guy in front of him was obsessed with money was because it could improve the lives of the village in general and Sennogi in particular.

If money couldn't do that, or wasn't the main reason for doing that anymore, then he would abandon it in favor of something else.

This is Takeshi's realization, the realization of an older brother.

Sennogi looked as if he believed that, and nodded thoughtfully.

"So... You shouldn't blame Seito too much, brother, after all, he does help you with so many things every day that he's not too busy alone."

Sennogi's eyes wheeled, revealing a wry smile.

"Why don't you find another assistant, brother? I think Akino sister is very good, she's very careful, and she's also devoted to you. Pretty looking too, if I were you, I'd have done it already!"

Takeshi looked at Sennogi, who had his heart set on finding himself a girlfriend, and was quite helpless.

"Don't be ridiculous, Akino and I are just normal friends, and there's no shortage of people to chase after at all."

Always, the rhythm of breakfast returned to the routine of this sibling fight.

But Rope could always sense that underneath this seemingly cozy routine, there was something different.

It was as if both of them had something on their minds.

After finishing the meal, Rope helped Sennogi bring the dishes to the kitchen, then smiled and said, ''Then I'll go out first. I'll be back in the evening, but it might be a bit late. Is it okay to leave me dinner?"

Sennogi, of course, would not refuse Rope. Although the two of them had met not long ago in Sennogi's eyes, Rope was really very familiar with her habits, and would never step on a minefield, nor would she say anything that Sennogi didn't like to hear. When this kind of thing happens to someone you meet for the first time, it's really hard to believe that this isn't your true son or daughter.

What Sennogi doesn't realize is how much difficulty Rope and Sennogi had with each other when Rope first met Sennogi. Someone who lived over sixty years ago wanted to adapt to modern life as quickly as possible. And Rope and the others want to get as close as possible to Sennogi's living condition and help her create a good environment for adaptation.

The group didn't know how many mines they had stepped on and how many walls they had hit during their time together before they came to a tacit understanding later on.

"You're leaving? I'll walk you out of the village."

Saying that, Sennogi didn't even wait for Rope to refuse, and went straight to put on her jacket and prepare to leave with Rope.

Rope certainly didn't need Sennogi to send him. Although his perception range couldn't sense the exact location of that Pokémon yet, it was still not a problem to judge a generalization.

However, Rope didn't refuse to take it.

He knew that Sennogi wasn't just worried about himself, he probably still had some things he planned to ask himself.

"Okay, then let's go together."

Rope and Sennogi went out, and while walking on the road the situation could not be said to be much different from yesterday, it could only be said to be exactly the same.

There was still the enthusiastic and well-meaning uproar from the villagers, not going overboard or crossing the line. It just created an ambiguous atmosphere.

Rope and Sennogi also greeted each other politely just like yesterday. Responding to their goodwill that was destined to lead nowhere.

Walking to a slightly more secluded place.

Rope looked ahead and spoke, seemingly intentionally, seemingly unintentionally, "Well, what's on your mind?"

Sennogi shivered and looked at Rope in front of her somewhat helplessly, "What's wrong with him, brother?"

Rope wasn't surprised by Sennogi's question. Or rather... it was simply normal for Sennogi to ask such a question, and it would be a bit strange if he didn't.

"There is something annoying, and it's kind of what I brought on. But don't you worry, we'll take care of it."

Rope was well aware of what a smart girl Sennogi was. If Daisy was all kinds of crushing on a political level, Sennogi was just as calculating in her various schemes.

Whitley can be quite talented in both trainer and researcher, after all, being the icon holder chosen by Dr. Daiki in the manga, and even recognized by N.

The girls surrounding Rope are just as good.

None of them are provincial.

Although Sennogi was still a cheerful and lively character now, it didn't mean that her mind wasn't working well, on the contrary, it should precisely be more agile.

This is because people tend to have special thoughts born when their minds are free of distractions.

This was also the same reason why many people loved to find inspiration when they went to the toilet.

Of course, diarrhea doesn't count...

Sennogi shook his head and spoke, "You guys always treat me like a kid."

The corner of Rope's mouth curled up, and he habitually stroked Sennogi's head, "There's nothing wrong with a little kid, if I could, I'd like to go to the past and be a little kid."

Rope certainly thought so in his heart, but he himself knew very well... he couldn't become a child even if he went back to the past. When an adult returns to a child's body, even with that kind of environment, it's ultimately impossible to find that kind of mentality.

And with that kind of heart, what's the point of one's age? One can still be a naive child at eighty.

But such a person is ostracized in the society of adults.

Not everyone is willing to protect what they aspire to. There are others whose desire is to destroy it.

"Alright, even if you guys don't tell me, I'll look into it myself."

Sennogi narrowed his eyes at Rope with a vague hint of threat, but Rope just shrugged, half-concerned.

After all, this kind of thing, for Rope, had long been used to it as well.

Isn't it a sure thing that the Riddler is held in high regard?

After saying that, Sennogi walked towards the inner village without looking back, with a great sense of being in a temper.

Rope saw that the kind eyes of those few villagers who were originally looking at him had instantly changed...

Rope let out a helpless, bitter laugh before following his senses and heading in the direction that Takeshi had explained to him.

Outside the village of Lake Village was the Sen Mizu Wetland. This wetland appeared because of the transformation of the Origin of Water. Without the Origin of Water, it would disappear. However, the Sen Mizu Wetland nowadays doesn't look like the desolate desert that Rope visited.

There were small puddles of water mixed with various lakes of various sizes, and there were also some water plants that looked like reeds. I have to say that this place did qualify as beautiful and scenic. If it wasn't for the number of dangerous, territorially aware Pokémon hidden amongst the lakes and water plants, it was likely that Takeshi wouldn't have had to deal with a headache at all.

If the Pokémon here were just a little bit more docile, this place would be the preferred traveling location for those new trainers who wanted to become Water Masters, or who had a need for Water Pokémon.

Walking out of the village, Rope immediately sensed some unkind gazes.

Some Pokémon were hiding in that hidden water grass. Observing Rope's every move.

Like they were assessing whether this person would be a threat to their territory, or maybe they were wondering. Why was it that this man who had come out from the village didn't have the aura of God's Origin with him.

Rope was able to completely restrain his aura, but...in the face of the current situation, Rope...seemed unable to hide it any longer.

Rope let out a soft breath.

Originally, I wanted to get along with you as ordinary people, but what I got in return was your covetousness and malice.

No more pretending, I'll show my cards.

I am... a god!

Thus a divine aura that belonged solely to the gods pressed over at once. Behind them, in the village, the people inside felt their hearts tighten, and it was as if the entire population had been dwarfed by one point.

The people all looked towards the entrance of the village unanimously, with pressure and awe in their hearts.

Sennogi looked at the entrance of the village, which he had left not far away, somewhat puzzled, but also somewhat skeptical.

Takeshi, who was in his office, looked in the direction where the pressure came from and guessed that it was because of Rope. Therefore looking at that direction with some displeasure, he didn't say anything else despite it.

And the High Priestess in the temple felt this divine aura that was like an abyss or a prison, and even though Rope had avoided this place as much as possible, the High Priestess still felt the divine might that was as hot as fire.

She couldn't help but kneel before the statue of the god in front of her own eyes, bowing her head and whispering softly.

"O Lord God, is this the might that you possess?Lord Rope is a god, the gods have descended to the human world, and when will you look down upon your people again!"

The priests who were originally praying couldn't help but pray even more reverently after seeing that the Grand Priest had also already knelt down.

The reaction of the people in the village wasn't great, while the wetland outside was a different story...

Nearly a hundred Pokémon all prostrated themselves in place after sensing Rope's aura. Immediately after they felt that apparently invisible, but as if a sharp and burning knife had cut through their faces, they didn't dare to have any more thoughts.

But they were the only ones.Although Rope was a bit crazy at times, he wasn't so crazy that he couldn't do anything about it. But in the end, he wasn't crazy to the point of no return. He didn't think he could get everyone's respect or even worship once he revealed himself as a god.

The simplest example is Takeshi, ya just frowned even after knowing Rope's identity.

Of course, there was also the reason why Rope didn't go all out.

If Rope really went all out, then I guess Takeshi could respect him a little bit more. But only a little.

Rope believed that...in the wild, there must be some Pokémon that would think about killing the gods to prove the way.

Regardless, Rope went forward, he was definitely going to find that thing.
