"Emm, hello, you should be able to understand me."
Instead of using a question, Rope used an affirmative tone. After all, for Pokémon at this level, whether they had been in contact with a human or not, they could roughly understand a human's words from their mental fluctuations.
Gods used telepathy more often than not, and ordinary Pokémon didn't have this kind of ability that could be considered a privilege. But after all, they were able to get out of the way to understand a human's thinking.
As for why telepathy was a similarly privileged ability. After all, not every god has superpower attributes, but most of them have no difficulty communicating with humans.
The likes of Mew could even easily learn human language.
"Qua!"
Quagsire called out and nodded, signaling that Rope was right. He could indeed understand human language.
But he didn't understand why Rope had come to the deep north of the wetlands to find himself.
Humans, weren't they supposed to reside in the Village of the Lake in the center area, taking shelter from that big guy?
So Quagsire stood under his own roof and looked at Rope with a puzzled look on his face.
Rope, on the other hand, was looking at this small thatched hut of Quagsire's with quite a sense of humor.
It certainly wasn't Quagsire's own handiwork; after all, this Quagsire fellow didn't even have a decent pair of hands, and certainly wasn't up to the task of building such an elaborate house.
This one was the work of some human.
"You have a nice house."
Quagsire's beady eyes narrowed to slits at that comment, and he nodded his head quickly, as if approving of Rope's remark.
"Qua!"
Rope nodded, and like he said before, he could largely sense what Quagsire meant as well. After all, even among the gods, he really wasn't in the majority. Still, Heartitis could help.
"Did a very kind human help you build this? This human is still really nice!"
The corners of Rope's mouth twitched slightly as well... whether this human was kind or not Rope didn't know, but there really weren't too many people who could still be unkind in front of this Quagsire.
Rope really wasn't thinking much about it though.
"I came to you again in hopes of getting one thing from you."
Rope said it matter-of-factly, neither threat nor request on his face, just light, sincere speech.
Quagsire's brow furrowed momentarily. He looked at the human in front of him, who couldn't see the depths of what was coming, and for a moment he didn't know how to respond to him. After all, there seemed to be no desire to give this human anything of his own. And... wasn't this considered robbery?
Rope looked at Quagsire's eyes and knew and this guy would never agree to this easily. After all, Rope himself faced with this kind of request, also will not easily agree to it.
After all, the water-type Pokémon in the swamp, the temperament is not very good, now can still stand where not and Rope hands, already because of the reason that can not understand Rope's bottom.
Rope also knows very well that in this situation, he either has to make some exchange of benefits, or he has to directly take action to rob.
Of course, Rope didn't want to do that.
So he took out a Pokéblock, a box of Poffin, and a box of Poké Puff from his backpack, in short, he took out all the Pokémon food he had on hand.
Rope was also rather helpless, not that he was cheap, but mainly because the other resources really didn't mean much to Quagsire either. For a High Champion level wild Pokémon, the only thing they wanted was something that would allow them to reach Legendary even further.
But this kind of thing wasn't a regular resource at all. Normally reaching Legendary was the result of a Pokémon and a trainer working together, it was a complete mutual trust and reliance on each other that was comprehended in a single sparring match.
It requires both Pokémon and trainers to be undistracted. This also led to the fact that apart from Red, who was a Legend in the true sense of the word, even Blue could not be considered a Legend Trainer in the full sense of the word.
This is because Blue is a guy who still has a part of his mind that is devoted to research.
That's kind of the effect of family reasons. When three out of the four members of your family are all accomplished in the field of research, it is inevitable that you will have a basic understanding of such things as research.
That's why it was always inevitable that Blue, the guy, would be like that too.
Hard to say Leon, who ended his championship career in the original, did trend towards progressing towards being a Legendary Trainer after entering the Versus Tower, but right now... Leon doesn't have time to retire.
As for Cynthia...she's strong, very strong indeed, but there's that distance from being a Legendary Trainer, that windowpane that won't be broken through until she finds someone who can take over Sinnoh's title.
Sometimes it's just so realistic that if you want something, you must lose something.
Like right now, Rope must be handing over her chips if she wants the map.
But obviously... Quagsire was far from satisfied with the chips Rope was giving out right now.
He wasn't looking for much in the way of food. The water plants themselves were quite tasty. These things, even if they were tasty, were ultimately...
However, Quagsire looked at the delicious food Rope handed over, and after all, he symbolically took a Poké Puff and tasted it.
And then...
"Eat slowly, no one is going to steal it from you."
Rope looked at Quagsire, who was eating one bite at a time without any fun, and was quite helpless. Constantly pulling out food from his backpack.
It was also fortunate that Rope, this guy, had specially gotten so much Pokémon food before he crossed over, in order to use the food to open the way when necessary.
It turned out to be a real success.
From Quagsire's current state of eating without a care in the world, Rope felt that his request was still somewhat feasible.
In fact, Rope only needed to look away. Why did he ask to take Quagsire when he saw her?
Simple...it was too unsafe. This map is nothing to the uninformed. But a section with some knowledge of the Origin then there is simply no way to restrain one's greed.
Unless that power is something you simply don't see.
That's right, except for Rope, there's really no one who can come up with a line about the power of the Origin that you can't look at. At least that was the case in this world.
Rope also admired the entire eighteen types of Origin power in this Alzus' body. It wasn't clear whether it was because he possessed eighteen power seeds, or whether it was one power seed that raised eighteen kinds of power.
Regardless of which it was, as long as the power of the power seed was truly utilized, then Rope believed that this one was definitely a renowned figure even in the Void.
The reason why Rope said that he didn't even look at this kind of power...was mainly because there was no difference between Rope's Power Seed itself and this kind of Origin.
Because even if all of the Origin was thrown at Rope right now, Rope simply wouldn't be able to digest it. This was also the reason why Rope felt that this Katsuhisa guy was just stupid. This guy doesn't even know what an Origin actually is.
Rope certainly had something at hand that would be able to impress Quagsire right off the bat.
The Origin of Water was right there in his hands.
Rope also believed that as long as he used the Origin of Water as a bargaining chip, then Quagsire would definitely agree to Rope's request.
Of course, the Origin of Water will not be handed over to him, at most, it will only be lent to him to take a look.
Rope looked at Quagsire beside him, and was also not at all relieved. He didn't want to fight with others, it simply didn't fit in with his basic thinking. Rope didn't like to fight with people in the end.Rope was strong, but he knew better, using his power mindlessly, without moderation or restraint, this kind of thing was a crime.
And Rope knew better than that...if he gave the Water Origin to this Quagsire, then in the end it would either be Rope giving up the ownership of the Water Origin, or killing the Quagsire.
And something like the Origin of Water was not something that Rope had the right to put down.
It technically belongs to the Village of the Lake, to the Sennogi.
Rope is just holding it in trust. Similar to the mom and dad who said they'd keep your year-end money for you back in the day, except that Rope this one would actually be returned to Sennogi.
On the other hand, Quagsire is able to understand Rope's words roughly when he speaks. But ultimately, he can't read Rope's mind. So he was still eating freely.
Rope also couldn't help but lament that it might be because of his strength, or because of the character of Quagsire's own race of Pokémon, which led to his outrageously good temper. Otherwise, Rope estimated that they would have already fought in the current situation.
Quagsire, itself, was a very gentle Pokémon.
At this stage, where the entire population was brutal, it was already considered mild.
After eating for quite a while, Quagsire contentedly rubbed his rounded stomach with a satisfied little ojan on his face.
Rope had a big smile on his face as well.
Quagsire's meal wasn't much of a meal after all. With the exception of the Pokéblock, which was the main supply of energy, it was all simple and easily digestible stuff for Quagsire. But everything else was solid carbs...and in the end it was still top-saturated. If this was Snorlax, maybe the Pokéblock wouldn't be much to eat, but all the food in Rope's bag combined might not be enough.
"Well? Can I have our stuff now?"
Rope had a grin on her face, thinking about how Quagsire had eaten all of her own stuff. It's time to give herself an account no matter what.
The satisfied smile on Quagsire's face froze for a moment, then he looked at his stomach with some distress, and then at his pile of collection, his face in a difficult position.
The corners of Rope's mouth twitched, clearly this asshole was not willing to part with it...
Then Rope was afraid that he would have no choice but to do it.
After all, in the case of necessity, Rope was definitely not a soft-hearted guy either.
And just when Love Rope was ready to strike first.
Quagsire suddenly got up, startling Rope.
Subconsciously, she extinguished the flame that had already flared up in her hand, and then looked at Quagsire with some suspicion. the scowl on her face looked as kind as possible.
"What, what's wrong?"
"Qua!"
Quagsire's face was stoic and vaguely resigned, feeling like he'd made some kind of decision against his ancestors.
"Er, you say, let me fight you? Give me one of your collectibles if I win the fight?"
Rope was all confused, not expecting Quagsire to say that. After all, since everyone was already talking, it was supposed to be about avoiding fighting as much as possible. But now, Rope looked at Quagsire's face, and 'last resort' was practically written all over his face.
Rope thought about it carefully, and it seemed to be true, I guess according to the way of thinking of the Pokémon here, it would be a great favor for them to agree to hand over the things now. If they didn't communicate beforehand and they directly fought, either Rope would directly take his life.
Or he'd just fuck up his entire collection before he died.
That's not surprising. If you think about it, Rope saved Quagsire's life and thanked Quagsire for valuing his life.
Antipodean now belongs to yes.
Rope doesn't seem to have much to say right now though, what people say is what they say. Anything else Rope says more is nonsense.
So Rope looked at Quagsire who had a serious face and nodded seriously as well.
"Then let's both have a good fight."
Rope got up, put his backpack aside, and then spoke seriously to Quagsire.
There were flames coalescing in his hands.
To be honest, it did occur to Quagsire that this Rope guy might not be simple.
After all, it was also true that strong trainers among humans were quite powerful, but Quagsire was confident in himself as well. It had been a long time since he had seen a Pokémon that dared to fight himself.
Let alone a human. He had initially thought of not putting too much pressure on Rope for the sake of the goodies she gave him. As a result, he also didn't expect that Rope, this guy, would actually do it himself as his first reaction when he said he would fight him.
That's not the point, the point is, of course when Rope doesn't suppress his aura, even Quagsire, who is very confident in his own strength, now his first reaction is...
Shit, something's gone terribly wrong. This is not a person.
Quagsire looked at the guy in front of him whose body was on fire around him, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.
But now that the deal was made, it was going to be a fight for sure.
So he pulled away from Rope with a single retreat. And made preparations to fight.
Quagsire's beady eyes showed a fervent intent to fight.
When he saw the battle intent in Quagsire's eyes, Rope couldn't help but shake his head, he didn't know what was going on here, but the state of the Pokémon here... was really abnormal ah, even a Pokémon of this level couldn't avoid such a state then there must be a huge problem behind this situation.
Of course, right now, Rope didn't have time to think about that.
Fighting, was the first priority.
"Fire Fist!"
Rope's fist was filled with flames, but Quagsire was still numb, even though Rope hadn't gone all out.
What kind of creature is this ????
