Back In the Village, Katsuhisa Came

Rope looked at the not so far away, a quiet and peaceful village, and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He had been worried that Katsuhisa would steal the house while he was gone. But now it seemed that he had overthought it after all.

A smile appeared on Rope's face as he breathed a sigh of relief before he silently walked towards the entrance of the village.

But before he could take a few steps, he sensed a special aura.

So he turned his head to look at the wetlands not far away.

Where stood a youth wearing a long black coat. The youth had a puzzled look in his eyes when he saw Rope. It seemed to have sensed something wrong with Rope.

Rope, on the other hand, didn't find the man wrong at all...

If Katsuhisa was able to hold back even after sensing the location of the Origin, then it would be beyond Rope's expectations.

Katsuhisa could see the hostility in Rope's eyes towards himself. However, he couldn't tell why this guy who seemed to be very dissatisfied with himself would be hostile towards himself.

After all, as far as Katsuhisa could remember, this was the first time he had met Rope.

Unbeknownst to Rope, in Rope's eyes, this moment was exactly like the other moment. He himself was so clueless when he met with Katsuhisa at that time.

Just as the two were staring at each other, facing each other through the air, Sennogi's voice suddenly came from the village entrance.

"Rope!"

Sennogi looked at Rope's back with a look of excitement. At this time it was already sunset.Rope went out early in the morning, saying that he had asked himself to leave dinner for him. But dinner was already ready, and Rope still hadn't come back. Not only Rope, even her brother didn't come back.

So she finds Seito and asks about Takeshi's status.

Seito told her not to worry and said that Takeshi is planning some very important work right now.

Sennogi wasn't skeptical either, although it was puzzling as to what these two, Rope and Takeshi, were working on that they were afraid to let her know. But figured it would be something important. She was upset that they were hiding something, but in the end, she wasn't going to give these two any trouble...

So she prepared to go to the entrance of the village to wait for Rope, but before she reached the entrance, she saw that familiar figure. Subconsciously, she greeted him with a loud voice.

Rope heard Sennogi's call, so he no longer locked eyes with Katsuhisa, but turned his head, the frost on his face dissipated like spring snow, and then revealed a gentle smile like a spring breeze.

"Sennogi?What brings you here?"

Saying that, he also took two steps in Sennogi's direction.

And just as the two approached to a distance of one meter, Rope stopped his steps.

Sennogi froze at his movement. He didn't stop because of inertia, but quickly retreated another meter away.

"...I've made dinner, let's go back and eat."

Sennogi still had a gentle smile on her face. Like nothing had happened.

And although Rope's face didn't show it, his heart was very complicated. To be honest, now he really does not know how to face Sennogi. in the end, although he is not the main culprit of her sleep, but after all, it is also one of the triggers.

After all, Rope wasn't sure whether it was because of him that Katsuhisa knew the location of the Lake Village, or whether Katsuhisa had already known the location of this place and just hadn't come over.

If it was the former, then it could only be said that Rope really had a lot to answer for. If it was the latter...I don't know what Katsuhisa was planning.

"I'll go back and eat later." Rope had a gentle but distant smile on her face, "Thank you for your hospitality these days, but I'm going to go catch up with my friend now."

Rope pointed over to Katsuhisa and smiled politely.

Sennogi just about flinched, but stiffened the feeling.

Somewhat strangely, she looked at Katsuhisa's shadow, then smiled and said, "That's right! Then I'll go back first. By the way, you guys shouldn't wander around in the depths of the Great Wetlands! If you really want to find some place to hang out, go to the center lake. I've been playing there since I was a kid, there's nothing dangerous there."

Sennogi instructed as if jokingly or seriously.

Rope smiled politely, it didn't look like the two were very familiar with each other at all. At least the way Rope has always been distant towards Sennogi.

So with a wave of her hand towards Sennogi, Rope greeted Katsuhisa in her direction.

It really did look like old friends meeting each other. Although Katsuhisa was certain that she really didn't have such an old friend.

However... what he felt even more surprised about now was... he actually couldn't see through the depths and depths of this guy in front of him. It was as if there was clearly a lake in front of him that wasn't very wide, but you had the feeling that a giant whale could leap out of the lake.

Rope was walking steadily, and he had distanced himself from Sennogi in order to keep Sennogi out of Katsuhisa's line of sight as much as possible. I don't know if that's helpful or not, though. But it never makes the situation worse.

And what Sennogi said later, he understood what it meant.

It was for him to take Katsuhisa towards the center lake.

Of course Rope knew that there was a very powerful Pokémon in the depths of the center lake, but the subtext of Sennogi's words meant that she was able to connect with that Pokémon, and even get that Pokémon to help him, which was something Rope hadn't expected.

What made Rope feel even stranger was...

That Pokémon, didn't appear in the ruins.

Rope could feel that this Pokémon was definitely large. But even so, he still didn't detect any traces of this Pokémon or its remains in the desert at that time. It must be known that even if a Pokémon of this level died and only had bones left, their bones still contained energy essence that was precious to ordinary Pokémon.

So it was logical that the remains of this Pokémon shouldn't have escaped Rope's detection.

Either it had been concealed by a special substance or terrain, or someone else had gotten to it first.

It was even possible that... it hadn't died and left the Village of Water.

Rope didn't know the answer for a while, and decided to turn around and make sure to check it out when he returned to his original time. This kind of thing, to say it's a small thing is indeed not big. But to say it was a big deal was also really worth checking out.

Rope walked closer to Katsuhisa.

Katsuhisa held up her monocle and scrutinized Rope's appearance.

Then silently shook her head.

"I'm pretty sure I don't have a friend like you...or I'm pretty sure I don't have a friend."

All of his childhood playmates had died at his hands. And those who had made friends later in life had all stayed away from him for various reasons. Some things were physically far away. Some were physically far away.

So that being said, he was pretty sure that he didn't have any old friends that he hadn't seen in years. Especially since this Rope guy had such a young face, no more than mid-twenties at most.

Katsuhisa herself certainly looked young. But there was no hiding the youthful vigor that was unique to Rope. And Katsuhisa herself knew how long she would live, even if she was powerful and looked young. The vigor that belongs only to young people can never be recovered.

The only thing that haunts her is her twilight aura, and the aura of death that should never die.

Katsuhisa wasn't very fond of people like Rope. Such a person would make him that little bit jealous. That's why people like that usually don't live very long if they follow him around.

But Rope had a bright and sunny smile on his face.

"Alas! All brothers are brothers within the four seas, and all friends are friends at the end of the world. How can we say that people we haven't met aren't close friends who've been friends with God for a long time? Older brother! You're getting ahead of yourself!"

Rope's words were so grandiose and bold, just like a triad boss seeing a youngster he saw eye to eye.

Even though Rope was talking about big brother, Katsuhisa had the feeling that he wasn't talking to a big brother.

He frowned and knocked Rope's hand away from his shoulder.

Rope wasn't annoyed, still looking at him with a smile on his face.

"Meeting is fate. To meet is to have known each other before. What's more, the two of us met in the depths of the Great Wetland, it's really quite extraordinary to meet an outsider like me in such a dangerous place."

Rope was still cozying up, but Katsuhisa had no intention of paying any attention to the psychopath.

"I didn't come here just to 'meet up' with you, so please get out of my way, I have my own business to attend to."

Katsuhisa looked at Rope, her already expressionless face growing colder and colder.

Rope could sense that Katsuhisa's murderous intent had risen against him...

He was a bit bewildered...was this Katsuhisa fellow really that sullen? Faced with a guy like herself who showed no malice and was even very enthusiastic, after a few simple words, she was actually thinking of killing herself too?

What is it that can't be talked about?

Is there nothing else in these people's heads now but fighting?

"At the risk of asking, what's your name, old man?"

"Katsuhisa."

"So Katsuhisa old brother you want to enter Sen Mizu Town?"

"That has nothing to do with you. My purpose for entering this village has even less to do with you."

Katsuhisa looked as if she had anticipated what kind of question Rope would ask. Straightening her monocle, she spoke coldly.

Rope 'tsked' twice and spoke with regret and helplessness in his tone, "Sorry, old brother. I'm afraid I can't let you have your wish."

Katsuhisa looked at Rope indifferently, as if she was looking at a dead person.

"What do you want?"

Rope also put away the playful smile on his face, of course he couldn't say that he was from the future and knew what bad things you were doing so he must defeat you!

It's not like Katsuhisa is some final boss that can't be so card-carrying. It's not worth Rope traveling back from the future specifically to kill a little weaker version of him.

"Stopping you, I can see you're not a good person, and thinking that someone like you is after something that must not be something that others can just cut out... There are friends of mine in this town, so I'm not going to let you enter as you please."

Rope said it righteously, like he was speaking under a red flag as a child.

As for Katsuhisa, Katsuhisa wasn't going to believe such obviously bullshit words.

So he went straight for it.

A hand knife stabbed towards Rope's chest. There was a faint pink glow on the hand knife. Apparently, he had covered his hand with psychic. In that case, the power of Katsuhisa's hand knife would only be stronger, not weaker, than that one powerful knife.

Rope looked defenseless, and Katsuhisa's hand blade pierced through Rope without any obstruction.

But in that instant, Katsuhisa's face changed drastically.

He looked at the spot where his hand had passed through, and there wasn't any flesh and blood there, but rather a ball of flame, which leapt as if it were dancing and mocking him.

Of course he misunderstood, Rope had no intention of mocking him right now, he just wanted to finish Katsuhisa off right now.

So while Katsuhisa was surprised by the lack of success of this hand slash and by the vision on Rope's body, Rope's right hand had already transformed into a dragon's head, and his mouth had grown up to blast towards Katsuhisa's head like that.

However, Katsuhisa's reaction was also fast, Rope's punch felt like it was blasted on a steel plate, hard.

While Rope only felt the hardness, Katsuhisa felt like she had been hit by a steel-armored rhinoceros when she was a child.

The sense of weightlessness surged up at once.

In an instant, he had flown out...

He looked at Rope, who was getting farther and farther away from him, his mind buzzing with a sense of unreality... how many years had it been since he had experienced something like this.

The layer of super-powered protective shield by his head was cracked.

Rope shook his hand off as well, and damn, it really hurt quite a bit. He hadn't just turned his hand into flames, he had wrapped it in flames.

It had also been a while since Rope had experienced something that hit so hard. After all, in all these years Rope hadn't experienced him someone else hitting his hand until it hurt. After all, no one's skin is usually this thick! Let Rope all hit to the point where his hands hurt.

Just outrageous.

Rope looked at Katsuhisa, who had landed not too far away, and for a moment felt a bit of exhilaration...

After all, it had been a long time since he'd hit someone this hard and that person hadn't had any problems yet.

It's really better to punch hard.

So Katsuhisa over there was just about to get up from the ground, and then he was met with another sight of Rope's fist...

Then he flew backwards again.

Now Katsuhisa was a bit slowed down. He had always thought that he was already the strongest human in this world in terms of personal combat. Even those Pokémon that he only thought he couldn't deal with were only those prestigious gods.

But now Rope had the feeling of refreshing his worldview. How could any human be stronger than himself?

With such a question in mind, Katsuhisa was punched by Rope again.

Now he could only see the shadow of Village of Water from afar.

The only thing he could see in front of his eyes...was Rope...
