"Please, just come and don't ask any more questions," Rose bit her lip as she spoke, then heard a faint response from Rolan before the call ended.

The moment the call disconnected, Rose turned to the wall, her body shaking as she burst into quiet sobs.

Her son wouldn't be taken from her.

Rolan would help her get Tobi back.

After a few moments of silent tears, Rose wiped her face and took a deep breath. She quickly texted Zara, explaining what had happened.

Once she was done telling her best friend about her situation, she stepped out of the dark corner and walked back toward the station, passing several officers who were patrolling outside.

The door to the officer's office clicked open, and Rose stepped inside.

Hugs him and say he's her husband.
