A Kiss meant for another

She was upset and all alone. Everything had been just her own wishful thinking. She couldn't understand what was happening to her.

Rose called herself stupid for ever believing she would feel this way—especially after Rolan had spoken to Jennifer.

When the emotions became too much, she decided to clear her mind by visiting her friend.

First, she would pick Tobi up from school before heading to Zara's.

Meanwhile, Rolan was on the road, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly as he drove. His mind wandered. He had rushed to Jennifer the moment she called—running to her like a lost puppy.

And yet, now, he wanted to turn back. He wanted to go back to Rose, to run back to her. His body urged him to, but something deep inside kept him driving forward.

He couldn't let go of the wheel.

What was wrong with him?

No matter how much he wanted to turn around, he just… couldn't.
