Dominic's POV
The door to our room hadn't even closed completely when I pulled Daniella into my arms, showering her with kisses. Her words from earlier, her unshaken poise as she calmly gripped that snake, it stirred something primal within me. Throughout dinner, all I could think about was her. No other woman I'd ever met had her courage, her intellect, or her fiery determination to speak her mind without hesitation.
My hunger for her grew with every passing second. My father, I could tell, were beginning to soften toward her. Eva and Antoni, though, their eyes still burned with hatred. I had already decided , Nick would keep a close watch on them. I couldn't allow their bitterness to harm Daniella or cause chaos in the pack.
As I kissed Daniella, she tilted her head back, her lips curving into a teasing smile. "Dominic…hmmm…you're kissing me, but your thoughts are clearly somewhere else," she murmured, breaking into my haze.
