When I was seven months pregnant, I accidentally overheard a conversation between my spouse and the struggling student I had been helping financially.

"Stephen, do you think your wife might become so enraged she'd end her life if she discovered the baby she's carrying is actually our fertilized egg?" Rosie said with a soft laugh.

"It would be preferable if she did. Then all her wealth would become mine," Stephen responded coldly. "The real issue would be if she chose to end our marriage and force me out. That's why we must keep this under wraps. Once our child inherits her fortune, we'll deal her a devastating blow."

That evening, I acted as if I hadn't heard anything. I gave birth to the baby and nurtured him with the utmost love and care.

Twenty-four years later, after my son completed his studies abroad, I transferred all my business shares and assets into his name.
