"That's unbelievable!" Chris exclaimed, instantly rejecting the notion. "Mason, you've become quite daring, plotting with Amber to fool me!"

The line went quiet. After ending the call, Mason forwarded the funeral details and cemetery location.

Upon seeing this information, Chris was stunned!

He gazed at me, his eyes wide with shock. "Such significant news, why didn't you inform me?"

I let out a small laugh, "How could I have told you?"

The evening before our Disney trip, he switched off his phone and disappeared from the enormous company.

I searched everywhere but couldn't locate him.

Mason, no longer able to stand by, stepped in to assist me with Aaron's funeral arrangements.

Guilt consumed him as he reflected on his actions. "If you had notified me earlier..."

I interrupted him. "Haven't I tried to tell you countless times?"

Every Aaron's birthday, every Children's Day, every time Aaron left the ICU.

How intensely he yearned to see his father.
