As the days went by, Thyriatrix and I started taking the children on more flights, exploring the skies and lands beyond our home. We showed them the majestic mountain ranges, the vast oceans, and the lush forests. The children were fascinated by the different landscapes and cultures, and they asked countless questions.
Tharros, being the curious one, was especially fascinated by the ancient ruins we visited. Lyriath and Vyraxys, on the other hand, were more interested in the different types of dragons we met along the way. Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix were captivated by the stories of old, listening with wide eyes as we shared tales of brave dragons and legendary heroes.
One day, as we were flying over a particularly beautiful valley, Thyriatrix turned to me with a mischievous glint in her eye. "I have a surprise for the children," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Follow me!" She dove downwards, leading us to a hidden clearing deep within the valley. The children squealed with delight as we landed, their eyes scanning the clearing with excitement. And then, they saw it: a beautiful, shimmering waterfall cascading down a rocky cliff. "Wow!" Tharros breathed, their eyes wide with wonder. "Can we go closer?" Thyriatrix smiled, nodding. "Of course, my dear. Let's go exploring!"
The children cheered, racing towards the waterfall with excitement. Thyriatrix and I followed close behind, watching as they marveled at the cascading water. Lyriath and Vyraxys breathed tiny blasts of fire to create steam, laughing as the mist danced in the air. Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix played at the water's edge, using their claws to splash and play in the water.
But as the roar of the waterfall grew louder, Tharros's excitement turned to fear. They covered their ears, overwhelmed by the sound. "Father!" they cried, rushing to my side. I instinctively wrapped my wings around them, shielding them from the noise. "It's okay, little one," I whispered, trying to soothe them. "You're safe."
Thyriatrix noticed Tharros's distress and flew over to us. "Is everything okay?" she asked, concern etched on her face. I nodded, gesturing to Tharros, who was still hiding under my wing. "The waterfall is a bit too much for them," I explained. Thyriatrix nodded understandingly. "Let's take a break, then," she said. "We can find a quieter spot for Tharros to feel more comfortable."
Just as Tharros was starting to calm down, Lyriath snuck up behind him, a mischievous glint in their eye. Tharros, still hiding under my wing, didn't see Lyriath coming. Suddenly, Lyriath let out a loud roar and jumped right next to Tharros, making him jump.
Tharros let out a terrified shriek, his eyes wide with fear. "AHHHH! LYRIATH!" he screamed, scrambling to get away from Lyriath. I chuckled, trying to intervene. "Lyriath, stop teasing your sibling!" I said, laughing.
But Tharros was having none of it. He continued to freak out, flailing his wings and legs wildly. "GET AWAY! GET AWAY!" he shrieked, still trying to escape Lyriath's prank. Thyriatrix rushed over, laughing. "Lyriath, stop! You're scaring Tharros half to death!"
Tharros's eyes blazed with anger as he glared at Lyriath. "You think that's funny?!" he shouted, his voice trembling with rage. Suddenly, a small blast of fire shot out of Tharros's mouth, heading straight for Lyriath.
Lyriath, still grinning from their prank, didn't react quickly enough. The flames engulfed their tail, singeing the scales. Lyriath yelped in surprise, jumping back as they frantically patted at their tail with their claws.
Thyriatrix rushed over, concern etched on her face. "Tharros, stop! It's okay, Lyriath didn't mean to scare you that badly!" She gently but firmly placed a claw on Tharros's shoulder, calming him down.
I chuckled, shaking my head. "Looks like someone's got a bit of a temper!" I said, smiling at Tharros. Tharros looked sheepish, still glaring at Lyriath, but slowly calming down.
Pov Tharros
I glared at Lyriath, my heart still racing from the scare they gave me. How could they think that was funny?! I felt my anger boiling over, and before I knew it, a small blast of fire shot out of my mouth, heading straight for Lyriath.
I didn't mean to do it, but I couldn't help it. Lyriath's tail got singed, and they yelped in surprise. I felt a pang of guilt, but I was still too angry to apologize.
Lyriath fell in the plunge pool of the waterfall since it is not too deep for a hatchling it is safe.
I watched as Lyriath tumbled into the plunge pool, splashing into the water. I felt a surge of relief that the pool was shallow enough for a hatchling like Lyriath, and they wouldn't get hurt. But I was still fuming, my anger simmering just below the surface.
Lyriath surfaced, shaking their head and sending water droplets flying everywhere. They looked up at me, their eyes wide with surprise and a bit of hurt. I felt a pang of guilt again, but I was still too proud to apologize.
Mother and Father were trying to calm me down, speaking softly and telling me it was okay. But I wasn't ready to listen. I was still too angry, too hurt. I just wanted to be left alone.
I quickly scurried back to Father, hiding under the warmth of his wing once again. I felt safe there, protected from the world and my own emotions. I peeked out to see Lyriath climbing out of the plunge pool, shaking themselves off and looking up at me with a mixture of confusion and concern.
Father wrapped his wing tighter around me, shielding me from view. "It's okay, Tharros," he whispered softly. "You're safe. Just take a deep breath and calm down." I nodded, feeling my heart rate slow down as I listened to Father's soothing voice.

I wrapped my wing tighter around Tharros, feeling his small body tremble with emotion. I could sense his anger and hurt, and I knew he needed a little time to calm down. I looked over at Thyriatrix, who was watching us with a concerned expression.
"I think he's okay," I said softly, trying not to startle Tharros. "Just a little overwhelmed." Thyriatrix nodded, flying over to check on Lyriath, who was shaking himself off after his unplanned swim.
I peeked under my wing, checking on Tharros. He was still hiding, his eyes closed tight. I smiled, gently stroking his silver scales with my claw. "It's okay, Tharros," I whispered. "You're safe. Father's here."
Tharros slowly opened his eyes, looking up at me with a mixture of fear and anger still lingering in his gaze. I could sense his emotions, and I knew he was still feeling a bit raw.
I gently nuzzled him with my albino snout, trying to comfort him. "It's okay, son," I whispered. "Lyriath didn't mean to scare you. He's just a little rambunctious sometimes."
Tharros sniffled, still looking a bit uncertain. But as he gazed up at me, I could see the tension in his body begin to ease. He slowly nodded, and I could sense his emotions begin to calm.
Thyriatrix flew back over, her light green scales glinting in the sunlight. "How's Tharros doing?" she asked, concern etched on her face.
I smiled, relieved that Tharros was calming down. "He's okay," I said. "Just a bit shaken up."
Thyriatrix nodded, flying closer to Tharros. "Hey, sweetie," she whispered, nuzzling him gently with her snout. "It's okay. We're here for you."
Thyriatrix spoke softly. "You shouldn't shoot Lyriath with your firepower. You could have hurt him badly." Tharros looked away, not making eye contact
Tharros looked down, his silver scales glistening with a hint of shame. He didn't say anything, but I could sense his regret. He knew he had lost control, and it worried him.
I gently placed a claw on Tharros's shoulder, trying to reassure him. "Thyriatrix is right, son," I said softly. "We need to learn to control our powers, especially when we're feeling angry or scared."
Tharros nodded slowly, still not making eye contact. I could tell he was feeling a bit down on himself, but I wanted him to know that we loved him no matter what.
"Hey, Tharros?" Thyriatrix said, her voice gentle. "Look at me, sweetie."
Tharros slowly lifted his gaze, his eyes meeting Thyriatrix's. She smiled warmly at him, and I could sense her love and acceptance radiating towards him.

I slowly lifted my gaze, meeting Mother's warm, light green eyes. She smiled at me, and I felt a wave of comfort wash over me.
"Tharros, we love you no matter what," she said softly. "And we're proud of you for learning to control your powers. It's not easy, but you're doing your best."
I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked at Mother. I knew she was right. I was trying my best, but sometimes my emotions got the better of me.
Father placed a gentle claw on my shoulder, his albino scales glistening in the sunlight. "We're here to support you, son," he said. "And we'll help you learn to control your powers."
I nodded slowly, feeling a sense of gratitude towards my parents. I knew they would always be there for me, no matter what.
Mother spoke, "But please don't do like that to Lyriath again." I nodded, not saying anything
I nodded, feeling a twinge of guilt. I knew I had overreacted, and I shouldn't have used my firepower on Lyriath. I glanced over at Lyriath, who was watching me with a mixture of concern and understanding on his navy blue face.
Mother's expression softened, and she nudged me gently with her snout. "We love you, Tharros," she said. "And we know you love Lyriath too. Let's just try to be more careful, okay?"
I nodded again, feeling a bit more at ease. I knew I had made a mistake, but I was grateful for Mother's understanding and love.

I watched Tharros nod, feeling a mix of relief and concern. I knew Tharros didn't mean to hurt me, but it scared me when he lost control of his firepower.
I took a step closer, my navy blue scales glistening with water droplets from my earlier plunge into the pool. "Hey, Tharros?" I said softly.
Tharros looked up at me, his silver eyes hesitant. I smiled, trying to reassure him. "I'm okay, bro," I said. "Just be more careful next time, okay?"
I looked at Tharros with a hint of pain still in my eyes, my navy blue scales slightly singed from the blast. "Look, sorry about scaring you," I said, trying to reassure him. "And please, don't do that to me again!" I added, rubbing my sore scales gently.
Tharros looked at me, his silver eyes filled with remorse. He nodded slowly, and I could sense his regret. I smiled weakly, trying to let him know I was okay.

I looked at Lyriath, seeing the pain and worry in his eyes. I felt a surge of guilt and regret, knowing I had hurt him. "I'm sorry, Lyriath," I said softly, my voice barely above a whisper.
Lyriath nodded, a small smile on his face. "I know you are, bro," he said. "Just be more careful next time, okay?"
I nodded vigorously, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I was grateful Lyriath was okay, and I promised myself I would be more careful in the future.
I looked closer at Lyriath, taking in the extent of the damage. His navy blue scales were burned and singed in some areas, and I could see the redness of his skin underneath. His wings, thankfully, seemed undamaged, but his tail was also burned, the scales cracked and blackened.
I winced, feeling a pang of guilt and regret. I had never meant to hurt Lyriath so badly. I reached out a claw, hesitantly touching his burned scales. "I'm so sorry, Lyriath," I whispered.
I spoke "mother can you heal him with your healing magic?" Mother shook her head and spoke."I already did that, and it didn't heal at all. I'm afraid it can't be healed. " She looked worried, and Lyriath looked at her in shock he was hoping it would be healed in the future
I felt a surge of worry and fear as Mother spoke. I looked at Lyriath, seeing the shock and disappointment in his eyes. He had been counting on Mother's healing magic to fix his burned scales.
"But...but why not?" Lyriath stammered, his voice shaking slightly. "Your healing magic always works..."
Mother's expression was grim, and she shook her head again. "I don't know, Lyriath. Maybe the burn was too severe, or maybe it's a different kind of injury that my magic can't fix." She paused, looking at Lyriath with a sympathetic gaze. "I'm sorry, sweetie. I wish I could do more."
Lyriath looked crestfallen, his eyes welling up with tears. I felt a pang of sadness and helplessness, not knowing how to make things better for my brother.
Lyriath's eyes welled up with tears, and his voice trembled as he spoke. "B-but what about...what about my scales?" he stammered, his breath catching in his throat.
He looked down at his burned scales, and a sob escaped his lips. I, Tharros, felt a surge of compassion and empathy, wanting to comfort my brother in his time of distress.
Mother, Thyriatrix, quickly wrapped her wings around Lyriath, pulling him into a warm hug. "Shh, sweetie, it's okay," she whispered, trying to soothe him. "We'll figure something out, I promise."
Father, Aetherius, placed a reassuring claw on my shoulder. "We'll take care of Lyriath, Tharros," he said softly. "Don't worry."
I snuggled even deeper under Father's wing, feeling the warmth and security of his presence. His albino scales glowed softly in the dim light, and I felt a sense of comfort wash over me.
Father wrapped his wing tighter around me, holding me close. "It's okay, Tharros," he whispered. "Lyriath will be alright. We'll take care of him."
Since Vyraxys and Nyxoria and Lyrixa and Kaidorix were playing around in the waterfall, they didn't know what was going on
The sound of laughter and splashing water echoed from the waterfall, where Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix were playing together, oblivious to the commotion that had just occurred.
Their joyful shouts and giggles filled the air, a stark contrast to the somber mood that had settled over Lyriath and the rest of us.

I lay in Mother's wings, feeling a mix of emotions: pain, sadness, and worry. I couldn't believe that Tharros's firepower had burned my scales. I knew Tharros didn't mean to hurt me, but it still stung.
Tears streamed down my face as I thought about my burned scales. Would they ever heal? Would I always have these ugly burns?
Mother's soothing voice whispered in my ear, "Shh, Lyriath, it's okay. We'll figure something out." But I couldn't shake off the feeling of sadness and worry.
I ran to the waterfall with the rest of my younger siblings
I decided to put my worries aside for a while and join my younger siblings at the waterfall. I ran towards them, my burned scales aching slightly as I moved.
As I reached the waterfall, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix turned to me with big smiles. "Lyriath! Come play with us!" Vyraxys exclaimed.
I forced a smile, trying to hide my pain, and joined in on the fun. We chased each other, laughing and playing in the cool water. For a little while, I forgot about my burned scales and just enjoyed the moment with my siblings, They are shocked, wondering how my navy-blue scaled got burned
Suddenly, I heard Tharros voice behind me. "I accidentally burned his scales out of anger"
I turned to see Tharros standing behind me, a look of guilt and remorse on their face. My siblings' eyes widened in shock as they stared at Tharros.
Vyraxys took a step back, his dark bronze scales rustling. "Tharros, how could you?" he asked, his voice trembling.
Nyxoria's amethyst scales glistened with concern. "Is that why Lyriath's scales are burned?" she asked, her voice soft.
Tharros nodded, their silver scales dull with regret. "I'm so sorry, Lyriath. I was angry, and I lost control. I never meant to hurt you."

I looked at Lyriath, remembering how he had jumpscared me earlier. I had freaked out, and my anger had gotten the better of me. "I'm sorry, Lyriath," I said, my voice laced with regret. "I know I overreacted when you jumpscared me. I didn't mean to burn your scales."
I felt a pang of guilt, knowing that my loss of control had hurt my little brother. I looked at my siblings, seeing the shock and disappointment in their eyes. I knew I had let them down, and I didn't blame them for being upset with me. I spoke "Look I already say sorry, it just that I'm angry but not all the time"
Vyraxys's expression softened slightly, but Nyxoria and Lyrixa still looked upset. Kaidorix, however, seemed curious. "Why did you get so angry, Tharros?" he asked.
I hesitated, unsure of how to explain. "I just...I don't like being jumpscared, okay? It scares me, and I lost control." I looked at Lyriath, who was watching me with a mixture of hurt and understanding in his eyes.
Lyriath spoke up, his voice quiet. "I didn't mean to scare you that much, Tharros. I just wanted to surprise you."
I walked back to our parents while my younger siblings played around in the waterfall. Mother and Father who were sitting together, watching us with concerned expressions. Father's albino scales seemed to glow in the fading light, while Mother's light green scales shimmered with a soothing calmness.
"Tharros, how are you feeling?" Father asked, his voice gentle.
I looked down, feeling a pang of guilt and regret. "I'm sorry, Father. I lost control and hurt Lyriath. I feel terrible about it."
Mother wrapped a reassuring wing around me. "We know you didn't mean to, Tharros. But it's good that you're taking responsibility for your actions. That takes a lot of courage."
I walk back to under my father wings since it helped me feel calm and comfort and safety and my safe haven
I snuggled back under Father's wing, feeling the warmth and security envelop me. His albino scales seemed to glow softly, casting a calming light over me. I closed my eyes, breathing in the comforting scent of his scales.
Father's wing wrapped tighter around me, holding me close. I felt my worries and guilt slowly fade away, replaced by a sense of calm and safety. Being under Father's wing was my safe haven, where I could always find peace and comfort.
After it is time to go home, we flew back home.
We flew in formation, our scales glinting in the fading light. Father led the way, with Mother flying beside him. My siblings and I followed close behind, our wings beating in unison.
As we approached our home, a cozy little cave nestled in the heart of a mountain, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. It had been a long day, filled with excitement and drama. But now, I was ready to rest and forget my troubles.
We landed safely inside the cave, our wings folding against our backs. Father and Mother exchanged a warm glance, before Father spoke up. "Let's get some rest, everyone. Tomorrow is a new day."
I nodded and waited patiently for Father to settle in for the night. He unfolded his wing, and I snuggled back under its warmth, feeling safe and protected. The familiar scent of his scales enveloped me, and I closed my eyes, letting out a contented sigh.
Father's wing wrapped around me, holding me close. I felt his gentle breathing, and his heartbeat, steady and strong. It was a comforting sound, one that always lulled me to sleep.
