It was just another day of school. Classes were in session, and both students and teachers were busy with their activities.
A few hours after school started, two adults and a young boy entered the school premises. They were there to inquire about enrollment, hoping to get the boy admitted immediately. It appeared that the two adults were the boy's parents.
Bruno, the boy who was about to be admitted, was intelligent, a little playful and loud, and came from a wealthy family. Being an only child, he was slightly spoiled. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, accompanied him to the school.
Mr. Taylor was a hardworking man who owned a global software company, earning millions. Mrs. Taylor, a kind and disciplined woman, ran a well-known and respected shopping mall in their hometown.
As they entered, Mrs. Charlotte, a school principal, noticed them and approached immediately.
"Good afternoon," Mrs. Charlotte greeted politely.
"Good afternoon," Mrs. Taylor responded, while Mr. Taylor stood quietly.
"We're here to learn about the admission requirements," Mrs. Taylor said in a calm tone. "We'd like to get our son admitted today, if possible."
"Of course, ma'am," Mrs. Charlotte replied warmly. "Please follow me to my office."
The Taylors followed her down a short path from the school gate. The cool morning air carried the hum of school life in the background.
"Here we are," Mrs. Charlotte said, stopping in front of a modest yet neatly arranged office. She opened the door and gestured for them to enter.
"Please, take a seat," she offered, her tone warm and inviting.
"Thank you," Mr. and Mrs. Taylor replied in unison as they settled into the chairs opposite her desk.
Mrs. Charlotte handed them a document. "This contains the admission details and information about our school, it has everythingu need to know," she explained.
Mrs. Taylor accepted the document, glancing through its contents.
While the parents reviewed the paperwork, Mrs. Charlotte turned her attention to Bruno.
"What's your name?" she asked kindly.
"Bruno," he replied, his voice carrying a hint of nervousness.
"That's a nice name," she said with a warm smile.
"Thanks," he mumbled shyly.
Mrs. Charlotte turned back to the Taylors, who were still reading the document.
"This is very impressive. You have excellent facilities," Mr. Taylor remarked approvingly.
Mrs. Charlotte smiled, clearly pleased by the compliment.
"We'd like to proceed with the admission today, if possible" Mr. Taylor said.
"Certainly, that's no problem," Mrs. Charlotte replied.
"That's great. Can you share the payment requirements? We'd like to make payment for everything immediately," Mr. Taylor added.
Mrs. Charlotte handed them a booklet containing the total fees and the school's bank account information.
"Thank you. Is this the account we need to pay into?" Mr. Taylor asked, holding up the booklet.
"Yes, that's correct," Mrs. Charlotte confirmed.
"Alright. Sent," Mr. Taylor said after making the transfer, showing her the proof of payment on his phone.
"Let me confirm that," Mrs. Charlotte said, checking quickly.
"It's confirmed," she announced.
"Wonderful," Mr. Taylor replied.
"When will my son receive his uniform and other school supplies?" Mrs. Taylor asked.
"The uniform will be given to him today, and the remaining supplies will be ready when he starts tomorrow," Mrs. Charlotte assured her.
"That's good to know," Mrs. Taylor said, visibly satisfied.
"Would you like a tour of the school?" Mrs. Charlotte offered.
"Yes, we would," Mrs. Taylor said as both she and her husband stood up.
They walked through the school, moving from lower-grade classrooms to the higher grades. Each class they entered greeted them in unison:
"Good afternoon, ma. Good afternoon, sir."
"Good afternoon," Mr. and Mrs. Taylor replied each time, while Bruno remained silent, observing everything.
When they reached the higher-grade classes, Mrs. Charlotte led them into one final room, which was Alex and Linda's class.
"This is your class, Bruno," she said with a slight smile.
"Okay," Bruno replied nervously, glancing around at his new classmates.
Alex, a student who is in the same grade, wasn't in class at the time—she was with Mr. Max as always, it was like her regular routine of the day. Linda, however, was present.
"Linda," Mrs. Charlotte called out.
"Yes, ma'am?" Linda replied, standing attentively.
"Could you help Bruno catch up on the notes and topics he has missed when he starts tomorrow?" Mrs. Charlotte asked.
"Of course, ma'am," Linda said politely.
"Thank you very much," Mrs. Charlotte said, pleased with her response.
Turning to Bruno, she added, "This is Linda. She'll help you with the notes and topics you've missed."
"Okay, Mrs. Charlotte," Bruno replied, still shy.
After the tour around the school was over, Mrs. Charlotte led the Taylors back to her office near the school gate.
"So, how do you feel about the school?" Mrs. Charlotte asked.
"It's very impressive," Mrs. Taylor said impressed. "The teachers and students are polite, respectful, and organized. I love it."
"Thank you for the kind words! Please feel free to leave a review on our school's website," Mrs. Charlotte said with a smile.
"Will do that," Mrs. Taylor replied warmly.
Mrs. Charlotte escorted the Taylors to the school gate before returning to her office.
Meanwhile, Alex was still enjoying her time with Mr. Max, unaware of the events happening in the school.
Linda, however, was eager to share the news with her friend. She hurried to Mr max's classroom to meet Alex and called out excitedly:
"Alex!" Linda shouted
"Yes?" Alex replied, standing up quickly, her heart racing.
"I have news for you!" Linda said.
"What's it about?" Alex asked curiously.
"A new student has just been admitted to our class!" Linda said with excitement.
"Oh, that's nice. It'll be great to have a new classmate, is he in my department or yours?" Alex replied with a smile.
"Mine! And I've been asked to help him with the notes and topics he's missed so far," Linda added.
"That's good," Alex said. "But you scared me for a moment there, I thought something was wrong."
"Sorry, I was just so eager to tell you," Linda replied.
"It's fine," Alex said with a smile.
In the back seat of his father's car, Bruno couldn't wait to start school the next day.
