I couldn't resist stealing occasional glances at him while he concentrated on driving. His expressionless face always seemed aloof and intimidating. Although many girls at school were attracted to him, none dared to express their feelings.

He shared a room with Zack. Whenever I visited Zack's dorm, Simon appeared to strongly dislike my presence. Even now, despite coming to pick me up, his demeanor remained frosty. The forceful way he had pushed me into the car earlier left my wrist sore, with visible red marks. It's surprising to think he had been harboring feelings for me all this time.

I lowered my gaze, deep in thought. The events from my dream had materialized. However, due to my own changes, numerous aspects had also shifted. Would Simon still have feelings for me? If he didn't care for me at all, wouldn't my actions be causing him unnecessary trouble?

"Heading back to the dormitory?" Simon suddenly turned and cast a glance at me. My heart raced as I blurted out, "Yes, to your dorm."

Simon tightened his grip on the steering wheel and scoffed, "Zack won't be there tonight."

"I'm aware," I replied, clutching the blanket's edge and twisting it nervously. "I'm not here to see him."

The car abruptly screeched to a halt at the roadside. Simon turned to face me, his icy stare so intense it made me shudder.

"Lola, don't use me as a pawn in whatever game you're playing with Zack."

"That's not what I'm doing..."
