"Neraxis?" Aella's worried voice rang out.

Upon turning toward her, he noticed that both Celina and Aurelia were staring at him with the same expression as Aella.

"Did something happen?" Celina asked, and he responded with a shake of his head.

"No, I just didn't get to train as much as I'd like," Neraxis replied with a hollow smile which no one seemed to believe.

"Really, dude? You can't even fake a smile?" Kael said with amusement as he elbowed him in the side.

But Neraxis was definitely not going to share what he had seen. "It's nothing serious. I'll tell you some other time."

"But—" Aella was interrupted by the door slamming open as Magnus walked inside.

The same went for the remainder of the students who were chatting.

For some reason, Magnus felt a little cranky today, and yet, he hadn't even said a single word.
